I think achievments are only okay after the first play through. Achievments have kind of ruined gaming for me because im always thinking I missed a skull or a flag around the last corner so I always back track the whole level to make sure I didnt miss it. This has taken away from the natural feeling of playing a game for fun for me.

One of the lamest achievments ever. But a great game! Just enjoy playing. Achievments take away from a game to me. Just my opinion.
[QUOTE="DeanG642"][QUOTE="Logan1616"] Then I ask you this...Godfather 2 or Fight Night Round 4?Logan1616Godfather 2. Much more to do. But it depends. Have you played previous Fight Night Games, and if so, how much did you like them? I played FNR3 and I loved it. Also downloaded the demo for FNR4 and loved that. But then again, there's also Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway...oh the decisions... If you enjoyed FN3 you will definitley enjoy FNR 4. One of the best sport games out there.
[QUOTE="scarecrowM"]it's a waste of time unless you're a person that scratches their games.\ It only saves milliseconds of loading time. (imo)chex81
i wouldn't say its a complete waste...aside from the shorter load times, having the system run without a sound is the biggest benefit.
I disagree. The biggest benifit is making the system run cooler and less wear and tear on your player.I have the 3D version and it is well worth it. 3D is actually done pretty well. And if you dont like it, you still have the option to play in normal mode. If you can spend the extra 10 bucks, its well worth it. Not really sure what these other guys are talking about as far as sticking with the original? GOTY version is better and a unique experience.
[QUOTE="BaconB1ts123"][QUOTE="dk00111"]Without an HDMI cable, your TV is recieving standard definition signal, which makes your HDTV pointless. Once you get an HDMI cable you will actually get HD signal, and the graphics will greatly improve. They're $5-$10 on amazon, including shipping, so there's no reason not to get one.jshaasK not disagreeing that HDMI is great but you can get HD through component. Sharp tv accept 1080P this way. I am not sure if the PS3 puts out 1080p through component but the xbox does. You can get up to 1080p with component... except with Blu-Ray because of the piracy protections it has. You can get 1080p with component cables? Thats news to me.
[QUOTE="mrmcygan"]The question isn't whether to get one, but which to get. Don't just get a super cheap one, because the image won't be as good. Make sure you get a GOOD brand, with high quality connectors. Sucker! My question is does the picture quality of a game using a HDMI cable look significantly better then a game using a AV cable. Also if this helps my TV is 42 inchs and can support 1080p.

The cheaper the better. There is zero difference in picture quality with 100 dollar cables and 2 dollar cables. Go google Cnets HDMI article. Amazon, Meritline or Monoprice are great places to find HDMI new for cheap.
