@abHS4L88 @cf_Kage Well, as an example; For the Wii, I have Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Returns, Zelda Skyward Sword, and Wii Fit, Wii Sports. That is my entire collection. All the third party games I'd rather buy on either my Xbox 360 or PS3 dependant on quality
I love Mario games, but I don't see why everyone needs one console to play it. Everyone buys a Nintendo console simply for first party titles. No one buys a Nintendo console anymore to play third party from other developers
They should really be thinking about this fact though:
Most pirated games downloaded/bought by people wouldn't have been done otherwise, i.e, they wouldn't have otherwise have gone and bought the game with money anyway.
EA is the worst offender with its anti-piracy DRM tactics. I didn't buy the next Crysis, simply because of the DRM they placed on it. Neither did I pirate it, but I avoided the game completely because of it.
Developers need to do something different; not put DRM to stop piracy. They actually need to target it head on with other means, i.e extra free perks.
If it required an always online connection, what would happen 30+ years in the future if you feel like booting up an old console you may still have, to find the games won't boot up due to the service having shut down? It was never going to happen like rumoured.
