I'll agree that the second felt pretty pointless, and yes peter was pretty bad ass in simbiot mode.  Still, after growing up on the comics and cartoon, it was just lacking.  Also, I forget who played the role of Eddy but he just wasn't suited for the part, especially as venom.  Just didn't feel threatening enough

I grew up on the comics and cartoons too man, i was pretty pissed  when they opted out of the whole symbiote coming back on the rocket that crashed into the brooklyn in favor of a stupid meteroid.  it was Topher Grace (Eric on that 70's show) and yeah he was kinda lacking, but Sandman was excellent. the ending was dumb though, i mean yeah he's sorry for killing his uncle, but didn't he just like wound and kill a bunch of people when he got his sand powers? i say he should have died instead of Harry.

Eh...if anybody knows anything about physics...leaving a device that isn't running plugged in doesn't use any energy. The flow of electrons have nowhere to go, so they don't just keep flowing. Unplugging everything that's not in use isn't going to do anything.rhyumavampire

As an electronics engineer i must say that the microprocessor enters idle mode or stand by mode when you "turn off" the system which is what consumes that little energy of 2 watts, the energy flows but at very low rates because nothing is working, the system is just waiting for an "stimulation" like the press of the PS button or the ON button on the front. the energy consumed is a little for the microprocessor and a little more for the bluetooth receiver waiting for the controller PS button signal.
