I game because it's an escape from the world around me, which I get pretty sick of sometimes. The same reason I watch a lot of movies and read books. Though, with video games it's a bit more of an escape because you get more involved in the story.
I always wanted a good Aliens game, although I think there's one in production. To clear up any confusion, I mean Aliens as in the movie titled Aliens; as in chest-bursters, face-huggers, and acid blood. ;)
Firefly. It was a TV show, a brilliant one that was murdered by the fools at Fox, but they made it into a movie! It could have space travel, ship repair/upgrade, squad gameplay, first person shooting/melee mix, stealth elements, etc. The overall mission could be any number of things, but while trying to complete it you'd have to get work to pay the crew, buy supplies and food, etc. It could be very cool.Bane_v2
I love your ideas!
I'm a big fan of Firefly/Serenity. Every time I watch the DVD set I get sad that there's only one season, one of the reasons I hate Fox.
[QUOTE="CheeChee_Macko"]I think leveling up is part of the enjoyment. If anything, you would want to stop playing after you unlocked everything.lolkie_81
Agreed, Thats half the fun for me. Thats why they put the challenges in to keep the game from getting stale longer. Cheaters are only cheating themselves

I think the challenges add an additional aspect that's fun to do.
Well, I just beat "Heat" on Veteran. :D I found a YouTube walkthrough in which immediately after destroying the last tank with the Javelin, the guy just bolts. He takes the route through the small barn and the field on the right. You hardly encounter any troops because by the time they begin to come in waves you're already most of the way down the hill. That made it A LOT easier haha.
