What is this whole thing about not being able to use W7 in June of 2010? I was reading a bit last night about it and from what I have gathered, it seems like we're going to need to re-purchase W7 or we're just going to constantly reboot? That's the release candidate version. The final product has no time expiration on it.

I think Oblivion stores saves and configuration info in My Documents somewhere. Find it, then move all those files/folders elsewhere temporarily and try starting the game (with a clean config)

Were there any errors when you uninstalled or reinstalled it?

You don't see Catalyst Control Center if you right-click on your desktop?

The main game only uses the typical CD check. (Edit: unless of course you buy a digital download version)

The DLC uses SecuROM activation - a limit of 5 installs/activations I believe.
