[QUOTE="chembro84"]Since the games are launching on the same day it's obvious that Capcom has been working on both versions for a long time, how come no one was complaining about the graphics before the non-exclusive announcement? Because they're good graphics that's why, just because all of the sudden you hear it's on the 360 too you turn into a bunch of cry babies. Stop complaining, buy the game if you want it, don't if you don't, but don't sit here and say the game is going to have crappy graphics because you know you thought they were "teh cell" before you knew it'd be on the 360 too.KraftForgottenI think this same statement has been said over and over again, with no avail. So, then why do you persist in trying to shove the same washed statement into peoples brains, when it just won't work? The reason some people don't want DMC4 being multi-platform is because if the focus is primarily on one systems soft-ware, then the chances are that game will be great. A games greatness has nothing to do with being multi-platform, really all that matters when you're going multi-platform is the graphics, no one was complaining about the graphics before, how come now all of the sudden they are?

Well, at the very least this generation of gaming will cause Sony n' Microsoft to buy more companies, thereby increasing the potential for more exclusives....since that's all anyone looks at to justify the price of a system apparently....:?Lord_Sun_CeWell if you think about it it makes sense, if you don't care about a blu-ray player (I don't really care about it), if you can get all the games you want on the 360 and the PS3, the graphics are equal on both games, which one are you gonna buy? I don't think people are going to spend $200 extra unless theres a good reason.
Blu-ray won't force the 360 to use blu-ray because then they need an add-on. The next xbox will use downloadable content.mikeslemonadeI'm thinking the exact same thing.
From what I've heard you have no problem getting a system, they still have many non-preordered systems.I don't have a pre order, but am gonna get up tomorrow morning and hope to find one:?
I'll be getting Resistance fall of man, even if I dont find a PS3 though. I always buy games for a system I know I'm gonna get, even if I dont have the system yet. :)Â
How about you? Are you getting one at launch? Gonna try to get one al launch? Or waitng to see what happens?

[QUOTE="UntoldDreams"]And despite that, the whole company makes an annual net income of over $12 billion. To put that into perspective, Sony CORPORATION as a whole, not just Sony Computer Entertainment but Sony Corporation, has an annual net income of only $3 billion for 2005, and only $1 billion for 2006. Sometimes I think people on here think that MS is a joke, they really aren't I'm not the biggest fan of MS (hate their OS's and other software, I like the 360)but they have a helluva lot more money than Sony. They've lost 5 billion dollars over the lifetime of xbox & 360. Total including all sales of Halo and software.
Does that worry you?

[QUOTE="chembro84"][QUOTE="zero_cool098"][QUOTE="chembro84"][QUOTE="Hulabaloza"]MGS and FF are likely multiplatform....end fo story....the PS3 is never going to be the PS2 and just can't carry the biggest games alone this generation. It's not saying anything bad about the PS3, just that the competition is in a better position this time around. Just pray that they stay multiplatform at this point. If they stay multiplatform it's a good thing for the Sony. The 360 has a much bigger installed base, which puts Microsoft in a good position to deal these exclusive.aka_aj03Exactly, it's not a knock against the PS3, it just doesn't have/won't have the install base to carry huge exclusives this time around. Games cost more and more to make, of course the developer is going to go multi-platfrom to make more money. well they could at least keep final fantasy series an exclusive one.....since this is the only game i really cared for Just because it's on the 360 doesn't mean it won't be for the PS3, you'll still get it for the PS3, it's just that Square will put it on the 360 too to make more money. but the game will be down graded. Square makes good quality games, it'll be fine, maybe you haven't had much experience with the 360 but the graphics are really good just like the PS3s, so in no way will a 360 game be crappy, it'll still be a fun game with great graphics (that's if it gets ported which isn't for sure)
It's plain and simple, it has a much bigger userbase (right now) and in the US and Europe is keeping a good pace, (in the US it is still outselling the PS3 month by month), if you were a developer would you ignore the 360? Sony will catch up, but for the next year or two expect most games that aren't 1st party to go multiplatform. If a publisher goes multi-platform to make money, that's one thing. But 360 isn't losing exclusives like PS3 is. That's the whole thing about this that worries me.
