Too bad it's only playable on console.

PC has a much lower player count though so some of the less popular modes are unplayable after a few months. I hear the classic modes on AW on pc have no players at all.

A 3 year dev cycle doesn't mean there won't be bugs. HL 2 took about 5 years and was a mess on release. Freaking stutter bug thats never been fixed, it even occurs in CS Go.

Anyways, Playstation and CoD just don't mix well. At least judging by Black Ops 1 which ran like absolute garbage on PS 3 and Ghosts which ran like crap on PS 4.

Comparing a game that comes with multiplayer, bot multiplayer, survival and a campaign whose voiceovers alone probably cost more than Insurgency's entire budget......

I'm not putting steam down I'm just saying it's monoplizing pc gaming. You are being forced to use steam if you want to play certain games. So these numbers have to be taken with a grain of salt. Imagine if the only way to play CoD on console was with xbox live. Xbox lives numbers would be much higher if that were the case.

It's relevant. There are more pc games that require steam than all the EA, Ubisoft and Blizzard games combined. If only valve games required steam then your post would make sense.

It's totally relevant since it's part of the reason why the numbers keep jumping. Consolites who wish to play CoD have a choice between PSN and Xbox Live while PC gamers must use steam.

Auto start is on by default every time I've installed steam.

And monopolization. Some of the most popular multiplats like Skyrim, Borderlands and CoD require Steam. A consolite doesn't need xbox live to play any of those games.
