Well today is Tuesday and hope this finds everyone doing good today. :) I havea doctor's appointment today to schedule a colon test. I am going today for a enterview to see when they will be doing it. I don't know if I will be having it done because of the nausea that I have 24/7. I will just have to wait and see when I talk to the doctor. My appointment is at 1:15PM. I will let you know what he says when I find out. My neighbor that has so many annuresyms well here husband called 911 this morning around 2:30 AM and they rush her to the er. She had a bed full of blood and it was on the side of her mouth. I talked with her husband this morning before the ambulance came and he told me that she was in pretty bad shape. He called me this morning when he got back from the hospital and they said that one of them had burst. The first response team told him that if they hadn't gotten her to the hospital when they did that she would not have survived. The doctor in the er told him that her stomach was full of blood, but her lungs sounded clear. That was good. So they did a ct scan on her and the er doctor told him that they were going to call her heart doctor, and when he got there he immeditaly told him that she was going upstairs. As I write my blog they are doing explore surgery on her to see what damage is done and see if they can fix it. She has them all in her stomach, and in other places. Her husband told me that he would call me when the doctor finish with her surgery. I will let you know when there is any developments on her condition.

BANANA SPLIT CAKE RECIPE

3 pkgs Favorite marble cake mix

1 pkg ( 3 oz ) Strawberry flavored gelatin

3/4 cup Boiling Water

1/2 cup Cold Water

1 pkg ( 4 servings ) Vanilla instant pudding and pie mix

1 tun ( 9 oz ) Frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 1/2 cups Cold milk

4 Banana's sliced

Preheat oven, grease and flour pan.

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water; set aside at room temperature. Prepare and bake cake. Cool cake in pan on rack for 10 minutes. Level cake with large sharp knife. Turn cake onto platter or foil covered cake board; cool and additional 10-15 minutes. Poke deep holes through top of cake with meat fork; space holes about 1 inch apart. With cup, slowly pour gelatin mixture over cooled cake. Set in refrifgerator while preparing filling. For filling, mix instant pudding mix and cold milk in bowl; fold in whipped topping. Using a long serrated knife, split cake into two horizontial layers. A cookie sheet makes a convenient large "spatula" for lifting and replacing the top layer. Spread filling on bottom layer; add banana slices and replace the top layer. Ice cake with white buttercream icing.

OVEN TEMP ~ 325 DEGREES, BAKING TIME ! 45-50 MIN. PAN TYPE ~ 12 X 18 SHEET PAN WITH COVER.

I hope that everyone had a good weekend. :) I know that the weekend went by fast for some of you. It went really slow for me. :( It felt like two days in one since the time was set back an hour. I hope that this blog will be posted. I was having trouble and there was a thing that come up that said that I had a single word over 80 characters and it was not allowed. I will try again. I didn't know what it meant so I deleted it and now I am going to try again. I guess we have another glitch again. My level went down to 0 again and it just came back up again. This site sometimes I do not understand why we have so many problems with it. :( Oh well that it's another day in the life of Peyton Place again.

SWEET POTATO SHEPARD'S PIE RECIPE

2 1/2 pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and diced

1 cup buttermilk

2 ts ground cinnamon

1 tbs light butter

1 tbs olive oil

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1 large carrot, diced

2 cups white button mushrooms, wiped clean

2 tbs tomato paste

2 tbs steak sauce

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup beef broth

1 pound turkey cook turkey

Place the sweet potatoes into a non stick saucepan. Cover with cold water. Bring to a simmer and cook until fork tender. Drain well. Mash with potato masher. Add buttermilk, cinnamon, and light butter and continue mashing until well blended. In a separate non stick saucepan, hear 1 tbs of olive oil. Add garlic and saute' for 30 seconds. Add carrot and mushrooms and continur sauteing for l minute, or until the mushrooms are soft. Add tomato paste and steak sauce and mix until well blended. Sprinkle flour into the mixture. Mix with a wooden spoon until the flour has absorbed all of the moisture. Slowly pour the beef stock into the mixture and stir to blend completely. Add the shredded turkey and simmer until the sauce is thick. Pour the turkey mixture into a 9 inch gl*ss pie plate. Top with the sweet potato mixture. Bake the recommended time or until the sweet potatoes are slightly browned.

OVEN TEMP ~ 350 DEGREES

BAKING TIME ~ 45 TO 55 MINUTES

PAN SIZE ~ 9 TO 10 INCH GL*SS PIE PLATE

First off I would like to wish everyone a great Sunday. I hope all of you had a relaxing weekend and are having a wonderful Sunday. :) I know that the weekend went by so very fast. And now that they set the time back this morning today seems to be going by so slow. Just makes me so sleepy and it will be a very look day today until I get use to this time. One thing about it is we gained the hour that we all lost when they set the time ahead in March. :)

I don't know who on here ever watches wrestling but we lost another great wrestler. She was the queen of wrestlers. She went by the name of Falulous Moolah. She use to wrestle with Mae Young. Moolah died suddenly down in Columbia South Carolina. If you would like to see her career you can go to wwe.com website and it tells you about her. She will be well missed. She was up in age. They think that she died of natural causes. She is gone but not forgotten. :( She won alot of belts. Mae Young was her best friend, and they always were together. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. The wrestling industry has lost an icon.

FUNNEL CAKE RECIPE

1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar

2 to 3 tsp grounded cinnamon

3 eggs

2 1/4 cups milk

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed

1 tb baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

Vegetable oil or shortening for frying

Large funnel for dispensing batter

Preheat the oil or shortening in a deep-fat fryer to 375 degrees.

In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar and cinnamon, mixing well; set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, and vanilla, mixing well.

Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together in another bowl. Stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture until batter is smooth.

Hold your finger over the funnel opening, fill with 3/4 cup of the batter. Place your hand over the oil and carefully remove your finger. Scribble and criss-cross the filling into the hot oil. Fry until golden on both sides. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Dust with the powdered/sugar mixture. Repeat the process until all the batter is used.

I hope you will enjoy this recipe. This one reminds me of the ones that they have at some of the flea markets and the fairs. Especially at the fair. They smell so good when they are frying them up. I love them. Enjoy my friend. :)

How's everone doing on this beautiful Friday. Hope that everyone had a safe and niceHalloween. I hope that no one got sick with all that candy that was everyone got. :( I finally got a new level. Finally got off the Golden Girl level. What a relief. I felt like I was going to be on that level forever. It took months and months before I got off of it. Now I have a coconut phone level. I guess I will be on this level for months and months too. :( Oh well change is good. :)

I had a not so good day yesterday. My son moved out and I don't know where he went. My landlord said that he had to move, now mind you he don't own the house that we live in just the lot that it is sitting on. He had no where to go. I don't know how people can be so cruel. I think that some people just don't have a heart so to speak. :( At least with him being here I knew that he was ok, and that he was eating right and everyday, and was getting the rest that he needed. The person that he is staying with is only a temparary place. I told him that it was not my doing that it was the landlord. I hated to have to tell him he had to move. It's not fair. The woman who lives in front of me moved her brother in without telling the landlord and he knows it but won't even tell him that he has to move. I have always ask premission on everything and have always did what my contract said, but some people in the park never do ask. I just hope that he is ok. Please keep him in your prayers.

PEACH DUMP CAKE RECIPE

2 eaggs, well beaten

1 cup oil

2 cup sugar

2 cup flour

1 cup raisins

1 cup chopped nuts

2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

1 can peaches, drained and diced

OVEN TEMP ~ 350 DEGREES BAKING TIME ` 1 HOUR

PAN TYPE ~ 9 x 13 inch pan

PREHEAT OVEN, SPRAY PAN WITH NON-STICK VEGETABLE SPRAY OR PAM.

Dump all ingredients except peaches into a large bowl and beat well, then fold in peaches. ~~~~ Bake, test for doneness.

The country music industry is saddened by the death of country music hall of fame of the country musicsinger Porter Wagner. He died last night around 8:30 CDT. He died of lung cancer at the age of 80. He was in the hospice hospital in Nashville Tennessee. Porter gave Dolly Parton her start in country music. He will be so deeply missed. He was best known with the rhinestone and sparkle jackets that he wore. He just celebrated 50 years in the country music. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family. Porter is gone but he will never be forgotten by no means. :(

On the other news, 7 people died in a house fire at Ocean Isle Beach in North Carolina. The names are not known at the time. The fire burn the house completely. The home owner of the beach house let his daughter whom was in college in Charleston, SC university and other students go down for the weekend. One student jump out the window on the second floor and he jump into the waterway. 7 out of 13 that went died. 6 were treated and release. Because of the house being built on stilts the firefighters had to climb a ladder to get to the house. The cause of the fire is not known at this time. Eyewitnesses said that they could still hear the one student yelling for help. It was such a tradegy. My husband and I go to that beach quit alot to do out fishing and we have stayed at the same beach right down the island from where the house was at. My prayers go out to the families or this horrible tradegy. There is nothing any worse than losing a child and especially in a fire. I know what it is like to loose a child. That is something that you never get over.

As I sign on tonight I noticed my profile and as of Sunday October 28 I will be on here one year. My time flies when you are having fun and being around friends like are on here that always make you feel better when you are down and not doing well. I can not believe that as of the 28th that I will be with you guys for one year. I want to thank each and every one of you for being my friends and being here when I needed someone to tall to. You are so very precious to me and you mean the world to me. :)

I heard on the news tonight that there was a 9 year old little girl and her mom was in Wal Mart and they got separated. The little girl was in the electronics and this man a sex offender came up and told her that she had to be searched for stolen property and when he reached into her pockets her messed with her the wrong way, and she kicked him in the not so nice place and got loose and ran to her mother,and they caught him in the store. It's just not safe any where any more. Not even in a big of a store as Wal Mart. The little girl did the right thing. She did what her mother and father told her to do if someone came up and did what this man did. They told on the news that he had a long list of being a violent sex offender since in the 1980's. Thank goodness the little girl knew what to do. She was taught well. I am so proud of her and her parents for teaching her what to do in a situation as she was in. Every parent should teach their children what to do when something like this comes up. They said that she was a very brave little girl. It gets pretty bad when you can not be safe in a big store like a Wal Mart. But I know that things like this can and does happen anywhere.

I managed to print out these pics of my new grandson from the hospitla website and I scan them back onto my computer. I hope that you will be able to see them. They are not very clear but maybe you will be able to see them. These are made right after he was born. I hope to be able to get to go up there Monday and take some better ones that will show up better. Sorry these are not very clear. I would like to introduce you to Timothy Allen. Good morning everyone here on tv.com. Hope everyone is doing good. I can not believe today is Thursday. I do not know where this week has gone. It has flew by for me for some reason. Maybe I slept through part of the week. :D Tomorrow is Friday and soon it will be the weekend again. I know that the weekend will go by even faster it always does.

I am still having trouble uploading videos. I saw on the forum that I do not seem to be the only one. I sure wish that they would get it fixed, cause I would love to upload some of my videos that I have on my computer. Of course this is not the first time that this has happened. Had trouble uploading them a few months ago, and when I go to upload a video it starts uploading them and then after a couple of minutes a white screen appears and nothing shows up, it is just a plain blank white screen. I do wish that they would get it fixes. The last time it happened it was fixed by the next day, but this time it has been broken as I would say. Is anyone else able to upload one. I know that BuskieBoy and a few more people on here are having trouble with the same thing happening. If any one else is having the same problem could you let me know. Thanks. I noticed that on the tech forum that there are quiet a few people having the same problem.

We have finally got some much needed rain. It has been raining since yesterday and is suppose to continue through Saturday. But it isn't helping our drought situation here. They say that it is a little to late, but the way I see it every little bit helps. Should be thankful for what rain that we are getting. I hope that the other people that are having this same problem that they are getting some rain too. I feel for the people who live in California. My heart goes out to the victims of this horrible fire that they are having. They have lost everything that they own. My prayers and thoughts go out to all of them, and I pray that the firemen and everyone involved can put these terrible fires out and they the people out there will have homes to go back to. I am so sadden that there are alot of people out there that have no homes and have lost everything that they own. That is the worst thing that could happen to anyone is for them to loose everything that they have worked so hard for all their lives. They are saying that it is a suspected arson, and I hope if they do find out that it was intentionaly set that they catch this person or people who did it. I don't know why people are so mean and do what they do. Please remember to keep all these people who have lost everything and the fightfighters and everyone who is doing what they can in your thoughts and prayers.

I am starting out my blog tonight by thanking each and everyone who stop by to comment on my blog and thanks for the congrats on the new addition to the family. We will be going up to see the baby hopefully Monday. I will be taking pics and I will be posting them on my blog. I say the pics from the hospital website and he is such a beautiful baby boy. He had his eyes wide open on all 4 pics. He had the most beautiful head of black hair. He had the most hair that I have seen on a baby in a long time.

Got the car back yesterday, and it is working good so far. I hope that it continues to work. They kept telling us the part was in the warehouse and it would be in the next day and it never did, so Jr went up there to talk to the big boss and the boss got on the phone and called Charlotte and Jr was on the other line and was listening to what the people in Charlotte was telling him and this time the person in the Charlotte warehouse told the boss that the part would be in the next morning and it came in and it was fixed by 11:30 yesterday morning. They kept telling us that the part was coming in, or they couldn't find the part or either it was on the truck and would be in the next morning but never did. So it was fixed and got it back yesterday. I told Jr that they should have knocked off some of the money as much trouble as we went through. They had the car for 2 weeks and that was uncalled for. Before Jr left from up there he told the service manager that he only had one thing to say and he ask him what that was and he told him that this was the worst job that they had done and he told Jr that he didn't blame him for thinking that. He wouldn't let me go up there cause he knows how I am. LOL :D

We got some rain today. Wasn't that much but every little bit is better than nothing at all. They are talking on the news today about going to a level 4. Which that is rationing our water in our homes. They are talking about us getting so many gallons a day, and if any one violates that then they can turn our watering off. I guess that we will know more after the meeting on Tuesday. This is the worst drought that we have ever had. It just doesn't look good here at all. :(

Hello everyone I'm here do let everyone know that I'm ok. Still not feeling to good. The nausea and the stomach spasms are getting worse. :( I have a doctor's appointment next Thursday to talk with him about having another colon test. It is my 5 yr checkup to have it done. Since I had my colon cancer in 95 they are keeping a check on it, and it's been 5 yrs since my last one. I guess the doctor will set me up to have it done. I will know after the apointment when I will be having it done. I will let you know.

We became grandparents again Friday. My stepson and his wife had a little boy Friday around 5:00PM. He weighed 7 lbs. 7 lbs. 14 1/2 ozs. and was 20 1/2 inches long. They named him Timothy Allen. He has alot of black hair. A head full of it. I haven't got to see him yet. I hope to be able to see him sometime this week and get pics of him so I can share them with you. They had to do an emregency c-section on her. The baby's hear rate kept dropping and the doctor said that they needed to to an emergency c-section on her to safe the baby. If they had not done it he may not be here now. He has a small heart murmur but the doctor seems to think that it would close up. He wasn't due until today but they wanted to induce labor. They were hoping that she would have had him naturally but she wouldn't dilate any futher than 3 cms. I talk to Sherry today and she said that he was doing so far good. I will keep you informed when I have more to tell. I hope to have pics soon to be able to share with you. :)

I had my dog Hope spaded 2 weeks ago and she is doing good. Couldn't keep her still. Her throat has been bothered her since she had the breathing tube put down her throat. She is having more trach spasms but I hope that they will get better. Her incision is healing good.

My car has been in the shope since last Monday. The instrument panel has all digital gadges and all of the things like speedometer, gas and all the the rest started to not work. They finally found the part in Michigan and they keep telling us that the part wound be in and would be fixed yesterday but now they keep telling my husand that they can't find the part. So I have had alot of bad luck in the past couple of weeks. If we soon don' get any rain they say we may run out of water. They are talking about letting each house have just so much water. It's looking real bad here. The lakes and all are really drying up around here. :( This is the worst drought that we have had here. The one that we had several yrs ago wasn't this bad. We haven't had any rain in 108 days. They are hoping that we will get some in a few more days. But the chance is slim. I do hope that we will be getting some rain soon. They tell us that we are over 14 inches below what we normally are suppose to have this time of year. Maybe we will get some rain this time. We need about 3 weeks of steady reain. We will just have to wait and see. I pray that we will get some rain soon. Well enough of the news on this blog. I know that this is such a long blog but I wanted to tell what all was going on in the past couple of weeks.

Hello everyone sorry I haven't done a blog since before the 9/11. I have been not feeling to well and haven't felt like being on here, but I decided to get on here long enough to let everyone know that I'm still around just haven't felt like being on here. I am sorry. I had my blood work done last week and it came back not so good. My white count is up and my B-12 isn't where it is suppose to be. They are keeping a close check on all of it. The last time that my white count was up I had colon cancer, so that has me worried. I found a small knot in my stomach. I have been falling around alot. I am having bad stomach spasms that really make me so sick to my stomach. I don't know what is going to be next. I was suppose to go and do more blood work this week but I just didn't feel like leaving the house, but I am going to go do that on Monday. I will let you know what the results are just as soon as I hear from them. I'm sorry that I haven't been on here but I just don't have the energy to be on here. My neighbor that has been causing me alot of trouble is at it again. Now she has put a security camera at her kitchen window and has it pointed at my house and I don't like that. She is watching every move that I make when I go outside. I feel like a prisoner in my own house. She is invading my privacy by doing that. I don't mind a security camera but it isn't right to be pointing in at someone's house. Never mind about going to my landlord cause he just want listen to anything that I try to tell him so when I feel better I'm going to talk to someone about her pointing that camera right at my house. Just makes me so mad, cause I don't bother her. :evil:
