The biggest factor however, for me, was that I switched from 40" to 32", it makes the jaggies less noticeable. The image became much sharper, some games even feel like they are HD like Prime 3 and Galaxy with my current setup (sony bravia 3? lcd), my Wii games look amazing.

SuperFlakeman

Ya moving tosmaller screen will mask the jaggies a little more, giving the appearance of a sharper picture. Im currently playing Zelda:SS on a 50" and it looks pretty bad, much worse than my 42". This is with component cables and running @ 480p.

As for the initial question, most definitely the cables make a huge difference. It may not be a noticable in some games, but improves the resolution of the consoles picture drastically.

Meh, im a big Metroid fan and LOVED Other M...people will complain about it, i thought it was very well done. The only complaints is when the user has to point out stuff during the cutscenes...those were brutal.

Pixel-Perfect

Exactly this. Sometimes I took more than 10 minutes looking for stuff. Fortunately there aren't too many of those. I think maybe 4 or 5. The games action kicks though, the story was good but could have been told better, music was good enough. I don't remember it being much like the other titles but it was atmospheric and made certain areas feel good. Its a great game, very linear though. Also be sure to look online for the game ending glitch. I got lucky avoiding it so you should look online and be sure to avoid it. The controls are awkward at first since you use the Wii remote sideways but that becomes 2nd nature really fast. If it is too small for you I recommend looking for the B.O.S.S. case for the remote since it is both a protective shield and a controller extension. It makes the controller bulky and it has a set of D-pad, and all buttons on it. I'll link you here:

I have one, very worth it.

Ugh I actually got stuck on a CUTSCENE and dropped the game for a while. >.>;

What were they thinking?

Same!!! I went back and started playing it...got stuck outside the snow mountain. I sort of remembers where i needed to focus, but apperantly im wrong and it doesnt exist there. Once im done Zelda ill go back and figure it out, but ya they're brutal.
It depends how much free time you have. If you're gaming rather than doing other things you need to do then you're playing too much. Most people fill their free time with something. Some might choose books, TV, DVD movie etc. What's the harm in wanting to play a videogame instead of those other things? Why is playing games seen by some as being a waste of time when other hobbies, like fishing, aren't? I know people who camp beside a lake for entire weekends, away from their friends and families, to fish and catch absolutely nothing. Lol. To each their own, I guess.scouttrooperbob

I hate it when people act like TV is more productive than games...

Agreed
I was loving every moment until the point i just hit...

***SPOILER***

I need to find the 4 music scores, got the first. So now i've got to go BACK to each dragon from the major locations and get the other 3 music scores. Really?? Come on. I dont mind backtracking but this is just lame. And ontop of that, i had to fight Imprisioned for a 3rd time (both annoying and extremely repetitive). These things were definitely added unnecessarily to extend the games length. I was pumped to finally reach the last dungeon and finish the game, but now this is in the way. I was also excited to restart the game for a 2nd playthrough, but knowing im going to have to do this again takes away that anticipation a little.

meetroid8
The third Imprisoned fight is annoying, but returning to the three areas again isn't bad at all. They're all completely different the third time around.
I wont specifically comment on your additional info, but if thats the case then im cool with it. Still annoying though, as much as in WW with triforce pieces.

meh, TP and OoT were both linear...just masked by a flat overworld. i originally thought i'd dislike the world design, but i thoroughly enjoy it...infact i prefer it. It feels something more similar to LTTP (in terms of world sections) than the last few Zelda titles.
