AAAHHHHHH, NO. that is not the case. there is nothing at all wrong with my connection. I hate it when people say that. That is the first thing people say when they want to make excused or defend sony for having such as slow connection. It is NOT MY FAULT. i Just want to know if there is really a reason or explanation on why downloads take so long. i do not have this problem downloading movies, music, or anything else on my connection.

Calm down bro....I apologize. But seriously,I have verizon DSL and I'm using a cheap wireless router,it takes me between 45-60 minutes to download a 1.5 gig demo. So all I am saying is you should find a better service or make some adjustments to your setup.:)

45-60 minutes is also slow to me, maybe you need a new service provider too.

I'm sorry,I should have been a little more detailed....for you. 45-60 minutes WITH 2 PC's,MacBook and a 360 ALL on the same wireless network.

I don't know what a stealth account is, and i don't know what trolling is either. look man I am not in here to agure with people, just trying to get some answers on why it takes so long to download thing from the PSN. why do some people get all bent out of shape in here.

I tried to do some research on this problem but didn't find any answers so I thought I try here. Everytime there's an update I have to download for a certain game like GTA or R6V2 or even rockband, I get to about 1% and it just stops and then I get a message saying there was an error during the process and I have to try again. I am using and wifi connection. Any help would be appreciated. THanksSolarburn24

Make sure you do not have an IP address conflict on the network. I had that problem and I had to shut down my PC if I was downloading something on the PS3 , somehow they were conflicting with one another.

I have similar problems but its got allot better in the last week or so, i can download a 700mb file in around 10 mins at the most and it took around 40mins to download the haze demo which was 1.5gb or somthing, but it used to take well over an hour to download 1gb from psn, but its got allot better still not great but better.

It's funny how people say it must be your crappy connection, well my connection is fine and the only time i notice when its not downloading at full speed is while downloading something on my ps3.
