Wow I like to do the same with my PC & PS3.  Can you share the info how to set this up?

What software do you have to install on the PC to share files and stream video?

And what settings do you need to do on the PS3?

I did two different joins and

one worked great

but the other one got lips sync issue (a few second off between video and audio).

Any idea on how to fix this?

Thank you very much.  I really appreciate the link.

Also big thanks to the person who developed the software - what a genius.

[QUOTE="HandheldJunkie"]

I mean :
Use Windows Movie Maker to join the series of .mp4 files into one big file (although they won't be viewable on your pc) and then put that big .mp4 file on to your psp.

Zeke129

That won't work. Any MP4 exporters for Windows Movie Maker don't use the proper format for PSP playback.

Sounds like you tried a few things already.

Let me know if there is no such software yet so that I stop wasting my time searching for it.

I can try the work around.

Thanks for the clarification.  I don't need to watch the merged MP4 on the PC since I can watch my video source (DVD) with higher resolution.

You are kidding right?  What good is it if you can't watch the movie?

Anyway I just came up with the work around which is much more time consuming:

1) Convert video source to a format that can be merged like AVI and MPEG.

2) Merge the video files into one big one (AVI, MPEG, etc.)

3) Convert the big file into MP4.

In theory that should work but I have to verify it.  I hope there is one software that can reduce the steps/time for the whole process.

I have been looking for a software that can join multiple MP4 files into one large one that will work on the PSP.

Does this (or an alternative way) exist?

I tried one shareware which can join the files into a bigger one but PSP did not like it.

Any info is appreciated.

My first one got the three red lights.  I couldn't reset so I returned it.

The second one has been working great for about a week now.

My first Elite got 3 red lights after 12 hours even though it was so cool temperaturewise.  Returned it and bought second one which has been working fine so far after four days.  I always plug my console to a UPS.  With the TV off I can hear the DVD drive spinning on and off with a hissing sound.  With the TV on I can't hear anything.

Similar defect story with my PS3.
