May not have been CGI, and hell, may have even been run on a PS4 dev kit. BUT, that's without ANY game code... so it's like those neat little demos they used to give with graphics cards. The game will look great; just not *that* great. Sony just LOVES to CGI sh1t up.

@devak108 They sacrificed some texture resolution and used extensive idTech5 layering to help keep the framerate locked at 60 regardless of what's going on. That said, they created A TON of environments, so the tradeoff is worth it. Also, when you're moving, it looks really really good. Some surface will look a little rough up close if you stop and just stare at it. But there are also plenty of areas that look absolutely fantastic.
I worry about the future of gaming when titles with millions of dollars and thousands of man years put into them score an "8.4/10" and are regarded as crap. I really think some of y'all have unrealistic expectations. Maybe it's just the millennials who want it all and want it now!
