@VegasDawg Not only is Sony Corp's financial situation dire, it is actually considered unfixable without bankruptcy protection. That is when a stock gets downgraded to "Junk" status. In the US, they'd already have gone bankrupt years ago. Japan has very different business laws that allow companies to operate at NEGATIVE equity. That is when costs+liabilities exceed value of issued stock. Yes... technically Sony "investors" own a percentage of the company < 0% because there's no value left after the equation above is executed. They have supermassive buildings and staffs, have huge, frequently idle production lines, have decreasing sales on EVERYTHING except PS4 and some of their insurance offerings. Sony has NO hope of returning to profitability. The debt snowball will eventually lead to a point where they no longer can obtain working capital. When cash flow stops, bills don't get paid, employees don't get paid, everything shuts down and the company goes into bankruptcy. In Sony's case, the judge would determine that the company is more valuable liquidated than restructured. PlayStation would live on as another company would buy it, but Sony Corp's days are numbered.

@buying1999 Yep... Sony writes excellent drivers and APIs. I fully expect them to mature so much more significantly than the drivers and stuff created by the people who FUKING CREATED DX, Made x86-x64 mainstream and actually has cash to focus on R&D and acquisitions.
