it depends on what your goals are.

if you are playing sc2 to be the best player on earth you have to sacrifice around 8 hours of your day for 5 years lol.

the good thing is that the match maker puts you up agaisnt players around your level.

I say no. But I mean, if you play on easy then no problem.

Start with like, red alert 3 or something. Shogun can get a bit overwhelming imo.

They're just about as fast you can get DDR2's, you'll gain nothing to upgrade the ram speed or the amount, are you on a AM2+ or a S775 build, perhaps even a board with different ram slots that'll take DDR3's? Well it really dosn't matter really, your fine with what you have and should lay the money on your next build instead, my opinion is that you'll want to exchange a AM2+/s775 PC before you need more than 4GB ram. (that is if gaming is the main intention of the PC.)

Fair enough, my mobo doesnt take AM3, and a new mobo is too big of a change. Ill just save my money. Thanks for the help brotha!

Not much, I'm happy with my rig, just looking to see if a ram upgrade is worth it~~
