With how messed up internally the devs are based on several reports and the simple fact the game is just a derivative product in a space crowded with also-rans this outcome is hardly surprising. Sony's insistence on preventing PC purchases in the 177 countries where PSN is unsupported also didn't help.
@ZZoMBiE13: That's the thing, it was remastered for these platforms, not remade. An outlet like Gamespot shouldn't mischaracterise the release and should fact-check before publishing and recently they've made several factual errors. For example, they were talking about Green Man Gaming reselling keys when it's a licensed store just because GameSpot copy-pasted an article from Kotaku without checking. The typos and other errors cropping up everywhere are also increasing, really concerned about this site.
What 2016 HD remake of Dead Rising is this article talking about? Did the writer seriously manage to confuse the movie with a game? Gamespot, please do your basic job as journalists.
The opening of this article is so completely off-base that it discredits anything else the author of this article has to say, discrediting the EU and attempting to justify Disney productions as somehow more valid. This smells of Disney-sponsored review stuffing but maybe the reviewer is being genuine, let's see what audiences actually think of the show.
When updating an article, at least correctly check each entry please. So many of these entries are released now and Chris Avellone was cleared of wrongdoing after his accusers retracted their statements:
Ubisoft has lost over 72% of its stock value over the past five years and their games are flop after flop, now their leadership says stuff like this. I'm very comfortable not owning more Ubisoft games that's for sure.
How is gg deals being called Green Man Gaming in the article? The quality of editorial review has been going down on Gamespot for years now but now from regular typos it is down to factual errors that could lead to lawsuits (GMG could sue you) by directly linking to websites offering the ability to buy gray market games. Please get your act together Gamespot, I don't want to see this site fail like so many others already have.
