It's such a dumb looking design it's hard to tell what you're looking at. It reminds me of the first time using JoyCons, where I put the left strap on the right con, and it was stuck! It's pretty obvious when you know what you're doing but for the first time the weird design isn't so obvious.

I really hope they add a feature for developers to easily add depth perception to existing PS4 games. There's some games which could REALLY benefit by depth perception - namely GTAV, which gets annoying when it comes to flying because the lack of depth perception makes it easier to crash into light poles.

Nintendo makes a lot of sales due to their quality games, as always, but something that's overlooked (especially comparing to older consoles) is how many more people have been born since then. There are a lot more people in 2021 than there were in 2006. That's why the housing market has skyrocketed and townhouses are now being built more than real houses are. More people, more demand. Also in 2006, the PS3 and gaming in general was nicher than it is today. The nicheness levels have gone down since 2006 and gaming is less niche in 2021 than it was in 2006. In 2006 gaming was also losing its niche compared to previous generations. Maybe today gaming is so popular that it no longer has any detectable level of niche anymore.

@bloodbornelore: Xbox doesn't sell very well overseas, so I can see why they'd focus on the American market where they have the most customers.

Xbox is kicking it up a notch this generation! For the first time ever since the OG Xbox and PS2 days, the Xbox is my primary console. Sony's offerings this gen aren't impressive. Their version of Game Pass doesn't have many good games, and their controller isn't much different from the Dualshock 4. I was expecting buttons on the bottom of the Dualsense or at least a Back Button Attachment for the Dualsense, but it seems Sony is not interested in making a controller for the particular crowd. I love my Xbox Elite controller! It's the best controller I've ever used and it's a real shame Sony isn't making something to compete. I know there are 3rd party options for the Playstation family, but the customization is nowhere near what you get with the Elite controller. Xbox is very squarely aimed at the hardcore gamer, whereas Sony is aimed at (???) I don't know, trying to please everyone I guess?

@Atzenkiller: Yeah Dualshock 4s are nowhere to be found for me, either. It's definitely the worst controller Sony ever made. I've gone through 3 controllers already just through wear and tear, meanwhile all of my original Dualshocks from 1998-2000 are still fully functional! Any console or accessory is hard to find right now due to covid, people staying at home more and video games are the perfect time killer when you're stuck inside.

I think it's funny how a super common game is suddenly considered "rare" and extremely valuable just because it's sealed. I understand it's very rare for someone to buy a video game and not open it after 20+ years, but Mario 64 is such a common game I don't get why it's so valuable. Maybe there's some shilling going on, that's my guess. Either way, it's kinda ridiculous how some game collectors think they're "preserving gaming history" by locking up sealed games in plastic boxes and never opening them. If you really are interested in preserving obscure video games, the best way to preserve that game would be to dump the ROM, share it on the net along with high resolution pictures of the box, cartridge/disk and manual. That way the game will be able to be enjoyed by anyone who wants to experience it, even if it's the rarest game in the world and they'll never get a physical copy of their own they can at least get a little bit of the experience.

@Wraith3: Especially when it comes to a super common game like Mario 64. It's not like anyone will have a difficult time playing this game!

How exactly is this a "Clearance Sale" if the prices end?! The idea of clearance is to discount products that will no longer be stocked, not as a temporary discount which will only last for a limited time and then increase back to regular pricing!

I'm waiting until Sony comes out with at least 5TB of disk space. That ~800GB is going to fill in an instant.
