No doubt this was a big mess for sony. Sometimes things like this need to happen to make things better and more secure. its kinda like a learning experience. Microsofts system is prolly more secured cause of this, after all windows has to be the most hacked thing to death, and we all know that track record. Now that its over and done with, its the future security that needs to be judged.

Disks are going to be less of a issue, my bet is the games will install, on the HDs, its a option now for performance. I love the ps3 and all but the bluray disk drive in it is slowwwwww. thats the reason most games have to install. plus getting off your A$$ every now and then is a good thing, you should go outside sometimes too.

One thing also that alot of people forget. Its a console, 1080p with a good frame rate is all it needs, Some of teh cards for PCs today display close to 3 times 1080p. All that extra power would be wasted for a Tv Console. My guess is it will be more powerful in the fact that it will be able to run truly in 1080p. Ram and some other hardware limitations are why alot of the stuff we have out now is sub HD or 720p. I have yet to see any Super HD TVs coming out soon i could be wrong. The next consoles will not be that big of a jump.

heh this moved since i was last on. I only wanted to say, it compliments the other systems nicely. Lets face it,. You get pretty much the same thing with the 360 and the ps3,. Ps3 seems to be played far more now by me do to its exclusives (funny 2 years ago it was reverse), and you can argue all you want on the multiplats, with few exceptions they play the same on both systems and the graphic diff, is not noticable unless you look for it. I started out as a PC gamer, before it was even cool, lol, but some games i perfer to have a nice seat on the couch, and enjoy, even if it takes a graphic hit. Others FPS, pc is and has always been the it system. My GF got a wii for the fitness games and crap. TBH i never touched it till about 6 or 7 months ago, however i am glad i did, some of the games are wonderful, and not just the fantastic mario games, DKC, The Metroid collection, hell even kirby had great charm. I really enjoyed murumasa, punch out!, i also finnally got around to twilight princess. I am hoping the cafe stream has the same charm, cause the others will more often then not be the same games.

I guess i still do not understand all the hate the wii gets. For one sure its under powered. Sure it has alot of shovelware. It also has alot of gems that are a nice change of pace on what you get on the other systems. The way i love games i was very happy with it as a compliment to the other systems. I am also sure that the cafe will be under powered by the time MS and Sony put new systems out. However i am day one purchase, plenty of fun to be found if it does half as well as the wii. In a odd way its lack of power have made the games feel, more refreshing and less like just another shooter.

They could still use HD-DVD, just becouse it lost the Format war for Movies. HD-DVDs main advatage was that the tooling for dvd did not have to be radically changed. It also could very well be some type of hybrid disk, based off hd-dvd tech,. In most cases they perfer to do this since it has alittle more piratcy protection.

My big reason for calling bs on all the religion is simple really. The biggest religions out there are also quite young in the scheme of things, christians have been around what about 2,000 years? The same with Muslims. Unless you are one of those young earth idiots and use faith to blind you to all things science you know man has been around alot longer then this, even if you do not beleive in evolution, modern humans have been documented much farther back. So back to the reason i call it all silly. 2000 years ago or so we have Jesus, and Moses and the ten commandments/pillars of islam etc. God choices this time in human evolution to send his son and his commandments to earth, oh wait the middle east to a world that still thinks its flat and only a few hundreth miles big. Then to add insult to injury the religions are based on short stories passed down thru the ages, then in one case edited by a king to more suit his likes and rule. We end up with how many different versions of the same god and, way too many different translations of the said stories, human kind has fought over, killed so many in the name of there version of said same god. Science was actually held back, for years due to anything other then what was in the bible was heracey and, again more people killed for God, .. You would think in the modern age human kind would have grown out of this but nope. All the terrorist stuff, back to certain versions of Islam. Christians are no better, plenty of extremists here aswell. I like the idea of some of the stuff offered by religion the beleif that one day i might see my dad would be awesome. I do not think you need a mystical made up person to feel love and be a good person. I could really go on and on, and have thought about this subject alot. I guess the biggest question that remains for me is

Why did God not send Jesus to Man when we had Global reach, Seems silly 99% of the world lived thousands of years had other gods and beleives, only found out about him from the crusaders and Conquests again in the name of god, and forcefully converted to christainity? Show up now, show us your commandments atleast it would stop all the fighting on who has the correct religion...... Or we could evolve and accept things as they are, i am hoping for the latter.

Um i am pretty sure that All the proof needed has been done. This is how they have been able to use gravity assists and the likes to get probes to the outer and inner planets. They do this by math and the effect gravity has on the spacecraft. Knowing the exact location of the planet by tracking its orbit as it moves around the SUN... This has also been directly observed recently with exo planets around other stars.
