I just finished the game on the 360, loved the game for what it it. However the game really failed to impress me much on the graphic end. The game did look great but i think people are blowing it abit out of proportion its not the best looking game. Its one of the better looking shooters with some nice mechanics and Awesome music, that does not get as much praise as it should, all the sounds are spot on.
Microsoft Prolly paid for the vacation. In the end we all will lose out of this. Just means the companys will have to watch the bottom line closer. Have ever more elaborate forms of DRM, This thing almost killed off pc gaming,.
I agree i am hoping we get some surpises at e3. Zelda for sure i am looking forward too. I would like to see, Xenoblade brought over and possibly some other jrpgs. A star fox game, and f-zero game is really missing in the wii library.
when i was a young kid i knew a kid who had all the consoles. His mom and dad both doctors pretty much got him anything he wanted. Back in the day the NEO GEO was so far and beyond what other consoles could do it was shocking. I also remember the cost. the machine was 600 bucks in like 1989 or something, years might be off. The really f-up part was each of the games were $100 to $200 dollars a game. teh day the 3do came out he had it day one, was not as imppressed but happy he came over on weekends and we would have game nights. I would love to own a Neo Geo console but i am sure i could not afford it.
This is news? I did not buy a wii for the online service. I have 2 other consoles that do just fine in that department. I look at the WII as a differant kind of console. Inovative and differant. Its great as a second machine and plays its types of games wonderful. Nintendo acheived what they wanted to. A machine that really does not compete with the others but compliments them. Aside from afew exclusives the 360 and ps3 are the same thing.
Same things happen all the time. The reason has nothing to do with translation in this case. It was translated years ago. It has to do with distrubution rights in a particular country. Royltys and stuff has to be worked out with the differant publishers and people who helped port the game the first time around. Often its alot harder to port to the US for these reasons. Fantastic game btw worth the wait.
Still own all 3 systems. The ps1 was the machine of choice for me and my crew back in the days. N64 did have some great games, Mario64 Ocarina of time, Goldeneye to name afew. This still could not overcome the library of ps1 games. Saturn kinda collected dust back then and was only truly discovered by me past its prime. its kind of weird but the polygon graphics of the ps1 i thought looked better back in the day, but clearly the graphics of the n64 hold more today.
