The top selling games for any of the consoles are their first / second party (sponsored, whatever) games. And no numbers for third party games for the HD consoles really match any of the Wii games. Do third party games of comparative quality really do any better on the other consoles? They just arent illustrated because they arent in the Wii's top numbers (which are notably higher).
In many ways, this proves TCs point because its worth it for third parties to develop multiplatform games for the HD twins and get 2-4 millionish on average.
However, Im sure if you put a comparitvely similar Call of Duty, a Metal Gear Solid type adventure, a Grand Theft Auto game that isnt gimped and a new Resident Evil game on the Wii, then they would perform as well as they have on the HD consoles.
Nintendo's sales numbers dwarf third parties. But then, at the same time, Wii owners dont exactly have a lot of options.

Here is roughly the same list from Softpedia.

Myth? No.
Excluding the first three on your list, as one comes with the console, one comes with a controller and one people buy because of a peripheral, name me a racing game on the Wii that is as good as Mario Kart made by a third party. Next, a fighting game with the same criteria... a platformer? An action adventure? The only anomoly on that list is Mario Party 8. Mario and Sonic was made by a third party.
Which further proves my point that only Nintendo games sell well on Nintendo systems. Doesn't mean that they are bad (Mario Galaxy is by far my favorite Mario game ever) It just means that Nintendo seems to produce a majority of the Wiis better selling titles.and it falls under a new title so yes, its possilbe its coming to PS3 next year. Man, Give it a rest...this is just sad...It's not coming to the PS3 anytime soon so why would it matter? By the time it would take to get it we'll already be hearing about GT5... Doesn't matter. As long as it comes out that would prove both our points.[QUOTE="Tjeremiah1988"][QUOTE="clubsammich91"] Yes, I get it. But the contract was only for "downloadable" episodes. Yes, exclusive until 2004, the GTA Double pack released in 2003.[QUOTE="clubsammich91"][QUOTE="PSdual_wielder"]
That was timed exclusivity. But for the GTA4 DLCs I'm not sure.

perhapes they didnt renew their contract, or sony just decided not to file a lawsuit, theres plenty of reasons as for microsoft, i doubt they will let two exclusive AAA DLC episodes of the #1 selling game of 2008 go without a fight..... you get it?
