What I don't get about this email thing is, what are we suppose to say? "hey Obama, I heard from my friends friends brother that the new health care plan and the cap and trade bill were created and are being pushed down the throats of the American people by secret ghost nazis!"

[QUOTE="clubsammich91"][QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"] All they are doing is collecting misinformation, like "Obamacare is going to kill old people", and debunking those false claims. -Sun_Tzu-

But do they need citizens to email them in order to do so? Shouldn't it be the administrations job to find and debunk misinformation on their own?

This is a common practice; politicians do this all the time, especially during campaigns, to ask supporters to email them misinformation.

Yes, politicians. But this is the US government for crying out loud.

[QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"] It's a bad idea to debunk misinformation?-Sun_Tzu-

Thats not what it seems like though. They are taking what people are saying, analyzing it and using it to push out a sort of counter arguement they can use to convince the American people that this will work.

All they are doing is collecting misinformation, like "Obamacare is going to kill old people", and debunking those false claims.

To be clear folks, this is the best "legal" way to boost self esteem. There are other items, like ones that rime with "shmarijuana".
