In fact, the Gospels weren't contempary accounts but written several decades after the events they list transpired. Most biblical scholars believe The Gospel of Mark was the first one written, and the best estimates for its creation are around 65-70 AD.... more than 30 years after Jesus would have died.

See, here is what I never understood. When did everyone start using the whole AD thing? If the Gospels weren't written 30 years after his death. Did the creators of the Christian calender just guess when he was born?
[QUOTE="clubsammich91"]A better question would be: Why is the RROD still going on after all these years? It's a weakness of the system, so naturally people are going to exploit it. Same thing would happen if the PS3's failure rate was as high as the 360's.EndorphinMaster
It's funny how quickly cows forget the PS2's massive failure rate...and the fact that Sony did completely nothing to address the problem.
Does that make this problem any better? Didn't think so. People can't just sweep this under the rug and pretend it isn't a big deal.

Early adopters always get screwed. Like those poor saps who bought the original iphone for 600$ when it first came out. Now people can get a better one for half the price. It's the same with all electronics.
