@Double-Ego @clynch0527 @CrazyOldCracker true, the best thing is to have good air flow/circulation around the cards..i have a fan on the side bottom blowing in, and one on the side top sucking out, and they are right over the cards, and since heat rises, that hot air blowing out, is not circulating to the bottom fan :D. i dont think i have ever seen my gpu temps go above 65..and that was play farcry 3, crysis 3, tomb raider

@CrazyOldCracker @Double-Ego @clynch0527 also look at another factor, ATI cards tend to run hotter, which in return result in short life span.

@Double-Ego @clynch0527 @Total_mischief @Salt_AU @TheOnlyConan i also forgot to mention that this next generation of gaming, ill still be able to play my games that were released last year and years before that. lets see the next gen consoles do th..oh i forgot, they arent backwards compatible..so that means youve spent over $1000 on two consoles, when as one can spend no more than $1000 and get a better experience, as well as a longer life span still being able to play the good ole classics without having to give anything up. Don't get me wrong, I have a ps3, mainly for exclusives. sold my xbox as its exclusives, just arent good, or there arent alot.

@CrazyOldCracker @Double-Ego @clynch0527 yea, if youre looking for power at a cheap cost, go ati, but if youre looking for long term power and straight up beast wars mode, go nvidia

@Total_mischief @Salt_AU @TheOnlyConan actually anyone who has intially spent around $1000 on a gaming rig, will outlast two generations of consoles. Yea, you bought a $400 console. oh shit, i forgot i need more controllers..$60-$120..damn, now i have to pay to play live? $60/year...lets just say you had xbox live since the 360 came out...well thats over $400 spent. oh damn..my console got the RRoD, lets spend another $400! NEW MAPPACKS! average $10, while pc gamers usually get those free..im sorry, i think the console has had more money spent on it then most gaming rigs...
