@wdma @clynch0527 i think this is just a more detailed explanation. they have been unclear about almost everything in the past. plus, the last article i remember the digital sharing about was BEFORE the online policy change. this could simply be statting that while they got rid of the used game and always online policy, they are keeping the digital sharing policy

@Spid3r6 @clynch0527 @Mista4oewun4oe that response actually makes no sense unless you specify what you want to know. the only thing it sounds as if it could be a response to, is the "its something that has been around for a long time." "how so" would not be a proper response to something i have already given an example of.

Somewhat off topic, I just really wonder how long MS is actually going to support the 360 live experience. They dropped the original xbox fairly quickly after the 360's release.

@monson21502 doubt they will. it would be possible for them to alter the license system on their servers, but it would take a long time with the database they have. pretty much not even worth it at this point.

@wdma @clynch0527 the 360, hence the :P because you said MS is repeating itself. they aren't repeating themselves because they haven't done it before, lol. this is just a feature that should have been in the 360 from the start.

@inscript honestly, the bad things about Microsoft doing this, while it is a good feature, is that they are changing it so late in the game BECAUSE they are getting backlash for it. They aren't doing this because they feel it's right. The online policy change is the biggest example. So to be real about this..if they can change it so late in the game, how quickly can they change it back once the console is out? It's hard to trust a company that can't even decided on what to add and what not to add, and half way listens to its consumer base.

@Mista4oewun4oe @clynch0527 Also going to put out there, that when something does come to the Playstation, its "fanboys" and other users, dont say things like "OOH YEA NOW WHAT MS FANBOYS!?". A lot of them actually end up comparing it to the features on other consoles. Like the many comments we saw in here, people are treating like this is something never been done before and is a step over the competition, when it's something that has been around for a long time.

@Mista4oewun4oe i even remember after sony unvieling the PSP, microsoft then said they were going to get into handheld gaming. I think the backed out primarily due to the fact they were smart enough to not compete against Nintendo in that field. lol

@Mista4oewun4oe @clynch0527 @Mista4oewun4oe @clynch0527 im not talking about terms of consoles. Microsofts biggest one was the GUI operating system, stolen from Apple. But when you also think about it, the walkman, portable tvs, portable radios..all invented by sony. When it comes to terms of mobile devices (outside of laptops) sony brought it the world. In terms of the button in the center, both consoles were announced roughly around the same time, both featuring the logo button in the center. (yes, the old boomerang controller had it) that leaves that argument to be void. yes, trophies are roughly the same as achievements, but if i recall correctly, i think a lot of users were asking for some sort of achievement feature in the console. xbox live was only big because it was charging, therefore allowing a better service, and face it, that was really ALL the original xbox had when it came out, besides Halo. it NEEDED that to survive. the FIRST xbox, only had a chat featured from the dashboard, nothing was cross game, like the 360 had. Th ps3 was incapable of cross game chat due to memory allocation and all of it focusing on the games, giving the system more power for the game itself. they weren't focusing on features. cross game is now added, primarily due to a request from its users, and because its a good feature to have. sony wanted to add the chat feature to the ps3, but said it literally couldn't be done.
