@Iffy350 So because I have a steam account, and I'm online in it, means I'm playing an online multi-player game? No. Just because it says there are 4.8 million users on Steam, doesn't mean that 100% of those 4.8 million are playing a game with other people online. it just means they are simply connected to the internet.

@aaron1111 @clynch0527 @Iffy350 you cant actually go by numbers. but im sure consoles are well into the hundreds of millions of people playing online.(combined of course) And considering that WoW just reported a loss of a little over a million subscribers, and back in feb had a little over 9 million, the online gaming in the pc is actually dropping. League of Legends only has a little over 11 million.

@aaron1111 @clynch0527 @Iffy350 true if you include all the crappy little puzzle games like candy crush an stuff, haha. Im just saying that because a console is cheaper to purchase straight out, more people buy that than a pc that is capable of playing modern day games. though they never realize that console gaming is more expensive in the long run.

@psuedospike @clynch0527 Its a great business decision to keep fans of your products even if they cant afford to buy the new system. It shows they are willing to support the previous generation for a long time. And these 360 emulators you speak of..experimental and can only play like one game. And its not JUST an emulator. It requires extra hardware, making the system more expensive to build. When Sony took the RSX chip out, they were able to cut the costs of PS3 production by quite a good bit of money. Also, because they wanted to make it easier and quicker for developers to publish the games, they had to change the architecture of the console. I'm sure we will see previous generation games reappear as a digital download and I know you're going to argue "I dont want to buy my old games again." Another thing, most of the people who buy the next generation of a console, usually end up keeping their older consoles. Also, because these systems will be working on a completely new network, even if they were backwards compatible, there would be a chance you would not be able to play online with your friends who have not upgraded yet. Seriously, before you open your mouth and sound extremely stupid. Think first. And before you respond, I'm going to go ahead and give you my response and say , You're drunk, do home.

@Iffy350 @clynch0527 I simply stated that alot of the exclusives on console, are absolutely amazing games. Heavy Rain, Uncharted, Beyond Two Souls, Last of Us, God of War, Heavenly Sword, all those were/are great games.

@psuedospike @clynch0527 the wii u, is actually a great console, im just saying its lacking in third party support. and thats ONE GAME. And dont forget where Monster Hunter started its roots. I was in the original beta for it back on PS2. Like I said, the WiiU is great, but their lack of games designed for it sucks. Thats why the backwards compatibility on it, is the best thing it has going for it.

@Iffy350 companies like naughty dog and quantic dream make some great exclusives. not to mention some interesting games come out on the psn/marketplace, that you would never find on pc. they both have their selling points. and also, you go to multiplayer, yes PC is still best when it comes to that, but more people play MP games on console than pc simply because they do not have a pc that can handle games like CoD, and if your friends play on console, you may want to as well.

@psuedospike @clynch0527 because the Wii actually had some good games on it..some developers from the start already refused to work with the wii u..now most developers wont even continue to make games for it. the backwards compatibility is the only thing that sells it. and thats not doing a great job either
