I would suggest you watch the video review at gametrailers.com. The scored pretty much the same as GS. It is justifiable the score it got I think.
There is very little offerings in the single player mode, no split screen (yet) Very few courses (8 if I recall) So I am not surprised it scored what it did.
If they had more tracks available, a better fleshed out single player mode it would have done a lot better than it did. Sure Motorstorm had the best graphics of any racer yet, but Great graphics alone are not enough to make a game a 9 - 10 title.
This has turned into a must buy for me.
As far as I have heard (in one of the many Phil GDC interviews) the game is going to be a PSN downloadable at first, then into early 2008 it will become a full fledged game. The full version is going to include a section of the best levels designed by people. How it will work I am not sure, because if I make a level and it is packaged into the full retail version. I want some cash...
I think it will be something like Litle Big Planet. That game has ALOT of potential for non gamers, and web flash gamers. I think it will move a lot of consoles, and sell like no other PS3 game til then.
I think also we may see Heavenly Sword rise to the pinacle that GeoW has in the eyes of many. As I mentioned before, like it or not, GeoW sold lots of 360's for MS. Was it that great a game? Not really, it was fun single player, but way to short, and I rarely play anything like Gears online (more of a Graw and R6 type gamer), so I get little to no value from the online multiplayer in GeoW.
This topic is pathetic....enjoy what you get if you look at other gaming sites we already have games that have scored equal to or higher than gears anyways...its all opinion, so stop whining and play your gameslonghorn7I think the original poster mean a real system seller game. Like it or not GeoW sold a lot of 360's for MS. And I think this is a great topic of discussion. Maybe you should stop taking people apart and go play some games yourself. You dont like the subject, do us a favor and dont post....
Yes, you can decorate the room with any picture and texture you want to. The wall itself, frames..etc.Yup, I agree. This was covered in an interview with Phil on March 8th. Sony says you can pretty much do whatever you want with you appartment, they will not police these private areas unless there is some serious complaints. I am sure there will be a few, but all things considered, it is the same as inviting a kid or a teen into your real life house, if you have a dirty magazine on the coffee table, what is gonna happen? Not a whole hell of a lot....
The apartments will not be policed by Sony since it's private spaces unless a serious complaint is received and then they will check that specific one out.
