[QUOTE="conspirethis"][QUOTE="mattbbpl"] I always love these kind of posts that rant about how evil an entire system is (like the currency-based economy) and offer no alternatives except to overthrow the current one. Just out of curiosity, what would you propose as an alternative to paper currency? The barter system?mattbbplGo watch the South Park episode entitled "Space Money". How much pieces of paper would we need to save our planet from an asteroid? Sorry, I make it a habit not to take economic advice from South Park...Who says you have to? Why so serious??? Would you rather take economic advice from economic hitmen? Obama,... Ben Bernanke?!

You cannot justify 1 billion plus dollars in security if things are peaceful. The people smashing stuff are part of the security.
It's a bunch of Che Guevera t-shirt wearing, dreadlocked, hipsters thinking that their making a difference. I'm actually feeling the urge to drop out of university just because I'm sick of being surrounded by these people's baseless and inane views. The protest crap doesn't surprise me, and the reasons even more. It seems that people protest these summits because "being wealthy is evil."
When 90 PERCENT OF THE WORLD'S ECONOMY IS IN THE HANDS OF FIVE PERCENT OF THE WORLD'S POPULATION, I AM SORRY BUDDY BUT THAT COUDN'T BE ANYMORE EVIL! You can call them hippies or anything you like, they are fighting for your freedom. (Edited out personal attack) I wouldn't be surprised that most of these violent protests are staged by CO-INTEL-PRO, to ignite MARTIAL LAW. Remember, the root of all evil, is currency. Especially paper currency. Getting mad at people for sticking up for their freedoms (and yours) on a video game board doesn't say much for yourself (not saying you specifically).I gotta say, when I first saw the footage it reminded me of V for Vendetta when all the people are wearing those ceramic masks. I don't know why these people think they can make a difference...the police have riot shields and tasers...

When they spend 1.2 billion on security alone for the G20 event, you know they are fearful about something. Obama, Harper, and Bush all have pretty much the same policies. Believe it or not, these policies are crashing the economy worldwide. I mean they can't not even plug the hole in the golf for the past 2 effing months, when they easily could, yet they let it destroy the fishing and sea economies. In roll the conspiracy theories about how Stephen Harper is really a British born American that was sent to Canada to dislodge the economy in America's favor and that all rich, political, or those who are cops are evil.

Calling anything a conspiracy theory just because it doesn't fit in with your reality tunnel is pretty ridiculous. I can already see your limited view from accusing anybody who steps out of the left-right paradigm that they honestly believe every cop, political figure, and rich person are "evil". You really are of dualistic perception.
I still have my sanity.. so no.0Tyler0You do not need "sanity" when you are seeing further out of the average dumbed down human light spectrum. Also you are delusional if you think this "reality" is the only reality here. We are biological computers and our perceptions at this point in time are low definition. Everything is energy/sound at the quantum level so anything is possible.
