That's already the plan, Project Bluebeam. Obama has promised E.T disclosure by December. Also, the 2012 Olympics.
This isn't correct. Nicotine is found naturally in the Tobacco plant, and nicotine is not only addictive it is also a carcinogen.Well it depends. 50 years ago everybody's health was more in the alkaline state (less pollution, less GM foods, nutrition was much more abundant), so your body's natural defenses and anti-oxidants would negate any cancer like effects, while taking in all the beneficial effects of organic tobacco. This is why all the native tribes and ancients would smoke around the fire, with no known reported cancer ever.[QUOTE="conspirethis"]I for one am against the legalization of cannabis, as they would start adding chemicals and other crap like they did with cigarettes (organic, home grown tobacco is actually good for you and does not cause cancer). [QUOTE="heysharpshooter"][QUOTE="jimmyjammer69"] Hang on, you just told me that governments are paid by drug companies to skew their research. Wouldn't that make your government corrupt too?jimmyjammer69
Yes. Every government in the world is corrupt to varying degrees. The US is no different.
So why do you trust your government to regulate cannabis impartially when they're raking it in from tax revenue?I for one am against the legalization of cannabis, as they would start adding chemicals and other crap like they did with cigarettes (organic, home grown tobacco is actually good for you and does not cause cancer).[QUOTE="conspirethis"]Govern "control" ment "mind". Need convincing? Look at all the lobbyists and big pharma corporations that pull the strings of politicians. They also say fluoride is good for you (Nazi Germany used it in tap water to make the masses docile and apathetic). Wake up, the government (notice I'm not saying plural, as Obama and the Pope have announced a New World Order one world governemnt this year, which is their solution to their designed economic collapse) is not here to benefit humanity, but to contain and enslave it. I mean come on, COMPUTER DIGITS and paper decide if people die or starve.VandalvideoYeah, I need more convincing. A clever word play isn't going to convince me that these government bodies are attempting to subvert other peoples. I mean, it may merely be the fact that they have adopted the name. Not every governmental agency need be this mind controlling entity. I require cold, hard evidence. Your suggestion to wake up based on word play isn't sufficient. I demand some kind of paper evidence showing that specific organization is actively lieing.
Well that's fine with me. If you rely purely on statistical data, and can't use intuition to connect the dots, then you are stuck in the left hemisphere of your brain. Use your intuition to wonder why cannabis, a plant, is illegal, and why alcohol (which uses fluoridated water) and cigarettes (added with radio-actives), is legal. To demand a piece of paper documenting that the "government" is constructing a monstrous conspiracy, mass eugenics, and depopulation agenda is very narrow. It goes much deeper, into secret and occult societies. You cannot simply get this in a pamphlet, it's too big and that's why it's called the infowars.
Cannabis being illegal has many reasons, and it's NOT for what they want you to believe. I know that there are very bright and lovely people who work in government and medical institutions, who are unaware of the agendas of higher ups. All of society is designed in the shape of a pyramid. I'll give you some sites that contain all sorts of information. Just remember to not blindly follow any "gurus".

well technically you can't get high from second hand smoke.[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"]If it were to be legalized, hypothetically, it ought to stay within the confines of private residence. To smoke in public is to force those around you to be subject to the object or your own machinations. I do not want to get high.needled24-7
but i do think if it was legal it should be done only in allocated areas.
Kind of like car pollution? No problem, just eat more anti-oxidants.KEYWORD: DOT GOV. Next. How Does Marijuana Affect the Brain? Scientists have learned a great deal about how THC acts in the brain to produce its many effects. When someone smokes marijuana, THC rapidly passes from the lungs into the bloodstream, which carries the chemical to the brain and other organs throughout the body. THC acts upon specific sites in the brain, called cannabinoid receptors, kicking off a series of cellular reactions that ultimately lead to the "high" that users experience when they smoke marijuana. Some brain areas have many cannabinoid receptors; others have few or none. The highest density of cannabinoid receptors are found in parts of the brain that influence pleasure, memory, thoughts, concentration, sensory and time perception, and coordinated movement.1 Not surprisingly, marijuana intoxication can cause distorted perceptions, impaired coordination, difficulty in thinking and problem solving, and problems with learning and memory. Research has shown that marijuana's adverse impact on learning and memory can last for days or weeks after the acute effects of the drug wear off.2 As a result, someone who smokes marijuana every day may be functioning at a suboptimal intellectual level all of the time. Research on the long-term effects of marijuana abuse indicates some changes in the brain similar to those seen after long-term abuse of other major drugs. For example, cannabinoid withdrawal in chronically exposed animals leads to an increase in the activation of the stress-response system3 and changes in the activity of nerve cells containing dopamine.4 Dopamine neurons are involved in the regulation of motivation and reward, and are directly or indirectly affected by all drugs of abuse. Addictive Potential Long-term marijuana abuse can lead to addiction; that is, compulsive drug seeking and abuse despite its known harmful effects upon social functioning in the context of family, school, work, and recreational activities. Long-term marijuana abusers trying to quit report irritability, sleeplessness, decreased appetite, anxiety, and drug craving, all of which make it difficult to quit. These withdrawal symptoms begin within about 1 day following abstinence, peak at 2–3 days, and subside within 1 or 2 weeks following drug cessation.5 Marijuana and Mental Health A number of studies have shown an association between chronic marijuana use and increased rates of anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and schizophrenia. Some of these studies have shown age at first use to be a factor, where early use is a marker of vulnerability to later problems. However, at this time, it not clear whether marijuana use causes mental problems, exacerbates them, or is used in attempt to self-medicate symptoms already in existence. Chronic marijuana use, especially in a very young person, may also be a marker of risk for mental illnesses, including addiction, stemming from genetic or environmental vulnerabilities, such as early exposure to stress or violence. At the present time, the strongest evidence links marijuana use and schizophrenia and/or related disorders.6 High doses of marijuana can produce an acute psychotic reaction; in addition, use of the drug may trigger the onset or relapse of schizophrenia in vulnerable individuals. What Other Adverse Effect Does Marijuana Have on Health? Effects on the Heart Marijuana increases heart rate by 20–100 percent shortly after smoking; this effect can last up to 3 hours. In one study, it was estimated that marijuana users have a 4.8-fold increase in the risk of heart attack in the first hour after smoking the drug.7 This may be due to the increased heart rate as well as effects of marijuana on heart rhythms, causing palpitations and arrhythmias. This risk may be greater in aging populations or those with cardiac vulnerabilities. Effects on the Lungs Numerous studies have shown marijuana smoke to contain carcinogens and to be an irritant to the lungs. In fact, marijuana smoke contains 50–70 percent more carcinogenic hydrocarbons than does tobacco smoke. Marijuana users usually inhale more deeply and hold their breath longer than tobacco smokers do, which further increase the lungs' exposure to carcinogenic smoke. Marijuana smokers show dysregulated growth of epithelial cells in their lung tissue, which could lead to cancer;8 however, a recent case-controlled study found no positive associations between marijuana use and lung, upper respiratory, or upper digestive tract cancers.9 Thus, the link between marijuana smoking and these cancers remains unsubstantiated at this time. Nonetheless, marijuana smokers can have many of the same respiratory problems as tobacco smokers, such as daily cough and phlegm production, more frequent acute chest illness, and a heightened risk of lung infections. A study of 450 individuals found that people who smoke marijuana frequently but do not smoke tobacco have more health problems and miss more days of work than nonsmokers.10 Many of the extra sick days among the marijuana smokers in the study were for respiratory illnesses. Effects on Daily Life Research clearly demonstrates that marijuana has the potential to cause problems in daily life or make a person's existing problems worse. In one study, heavy marijuana abusers reported that the drug impaired several important measures of life achievement including physical and mental health, cognitive abilities, social life, and career status.11 Several studies associate workers' marijuana smoking with increased absences, tardiness, accidents, workers' compensation claims, and job turnover. What Treatment Options Exist? Behavioral interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational incentives (i.e., providing vouchers for goods or services to patients who remain abstinent) have shown efficacy in treating marijuana dependence. Although no medications are currently available, recent discoveries about the workings of the cannabinoid system offer promise for the development of medications to ease withdrawal, block the intoxicating effects of marijuana, and prevent relapse. The latest treatment data indicate that in 2006 marijuana was the most common illicit drug of abuse and was responsible for about 16 percent (289,988) of all admissions to treatment facilities in the United States. Marijuana admissions were primarily male (73.8 percent), White (51.5 percent), and young (36.1 percent were in the 15–19 age range). Those in treatment for primary marijuana abuse had begun use at an early age: 56.2 percent had abused it by age 14 and 92.5 percent had abused it by age 18.** source: http://www.drugabuse.gov/Infofacts/marijuana.html

Your links are just mainstream propanada, funded by the medical mafia who profits off of the sick and lab made chemicals. You can't patent a plant, period. How can you believe that it causes cancer when THC is known to kill cancer cells, and keep your body in the alkaline state. Fricking cell phones and IPODS cause testicular cancer NOT cannabis. "Oh since the rise in cannabis use we've somehow concluded that it coincides with the rise in TESTICAL CANCER!".[QUOTE="conspirethis"]

Haha, very funny. Anything else, or are you going to laugh at the possibility that there is an invisible force of gravity keeping us from falling off the earth, and that it just ends past the mountains. Really dude, grow up.Actually, Cannabis IS addictive. Do your research. It artifically increases dopamine levels in the brain, then when the affect wears off the levels drop to very low amounts giving you a desire to have more to refill those levels, but after each time it requires more and more cannabis to reach that same effect. Basically, it does give an addiction affect.Dr_BrocoliKind of like food? But what is food? Why do we need to feed our physical bodies? There's people who haven't eaten or drank for over 50 years. Vitamins and minerals "artificially" raise and lower dopamine levels. But what???? "Artificially"? Words, words, words. Ancient Mayans and Egyptians and many others used to eat psilocybin mushrooms, DMT, and monatomic gold to feed their light bodies. DMT is known as the spirit molecule in quantum and metaphysics. So, we don't really have to eat, but we do - so I guess we're all hopelessly addicted to it; or maybe that's just evolution. We have cannibinoid receptors in the frontal lobe of our brain, meant for CANNABIS's wide arrangement of cannibinoids.
