In GRAW xbox live a player was taking cover and then reached up with his weapon and was shooting blind at the enemy. How is that done?

I can't believe all these people think they are average or below. I must be really bad cause I'm usually in the bottom half of the pack in Rainbow Six Vegas.

Internet is like a bar.

If there is no bouncer there, someone will start some **** and it will get out of the hand.

Forums and such has mods that acts like bouncers, and online gaming also has that when the host does good job and kick out all the problem individuals.

If you want to let your son play the game, make him the host and play with him. If someone is acting up, kick him out and block his ID. That's the only way.

TriangleHard

Hosting and controlling is a great idea. Thanks.

I'm sure it's not an XBox thing and as I said I also get frustrated and let the occassionally let a foul diatriabe slip out. But to use the mute negates the fun of communicating strategy during a game. I guess it is just human nature to get away with stuff when nobody can catch you. Just the nature of the beast, but it does reflect badly on online play for kids.

Most of the people I have gamed with online seem like pretty resonalbe folks, yet there is so much foul language going on that I really am wondering whether I should be letting my son play or really if it is even for me. I'm as bad as anyone in slipping up with the occasional sh!t or dam, but most of the f'n this and that is really gratuitous. Somebody called my son a MF the other day because he was too slow to sink a battleship on his Midway game. Geez! Don't people realize that games- yes even online games that are rated mature are being played by kids. I hate to have age restrictions, I don't mind kids being exposed to a bit of gore or violence if their parents feel it is ok, but maybe that is the only answer.

I am trying to decide between these two games. I've reseached both but I'd like opinions from people who have played both and clarification on these two points.

Thanks.

Specifically:

Does GRAW allow you to interact with vehicles at all?

Does GRAW2 have a offline multiplayer component?

Trying to decide between purchasing GRAW 1 and 2. I like some of the advances in GRAW2 like hiding behind the armored carrier.

One thing I enjoy is playing multiplayer off line with a split screen. Does GRAW 2 have this?

Being relatively new at Rainbow Six I am amazed when I play online with of the marksmanship of some of the players. My accuracy even when standing still is nothing like some of people. Experience will make a difference but I am looking for tips from experienced players on type of gun, scope, firing rate and how to ami well to improve my marksmanship from a distance.

As far as staying alive I see that good foot work to avoid getting hit is good. It seems like most of the good players have very little armor. Is it better to avoid armor for mobility? I've been using the Raven armor with a tactical helmet.
