There was this one time where I had to get four teeth pulled. (I have a small mouth...) I was on local anesthesia. So, when the orthodontist was removing them, while the tooth was still in my mouth, I heard a loud crack. I couldn't help but ask what was wrong. He said "nothing." The look in his eyes told me that he was lying. I realized that he left half of a root in there. I was infuriated at him though. At this point, he decided to call it a day I guess. He reccomended me to another ortho, and consequently let me know that part. No surprise. While I was waiting in the lobby for them to do some insurance paperwork stuff, (I was still a minor at this point...) the root which was pulled started to hurt. LIKE HELL! Eventually, I asked the doctor for some sort of painkiller. After my mum was done with the paperwork, he handed me a prescription for painkillers. It the entirety of my rationing functions to not hurt this guy.

You knw how SparkNotes! is the internet study guide that all students go to because they don't want to read the book and they realize that SparkNotes has all the information? Well, is there something liek that for movies? You know, that lists al lhe important quotes, symbolism, summary, etc.

Have you considered a double major? That's what I did. You'll be very busy, but you'll be able to do everything and have more options available to you.

If you decide to go the lawyer route, just remember that lawyers have to abandon all sense of moral responsibility and what may seem like common sense in favor of strict legal technicalities. This is hard to do.

Now, I bet when you walked into this thread, you thought I would be asking for something trivial, like which video game or movie to buy. However, I am not! Instead, I need your help choosing a path in life because I honestly don't know what to do.

I'm a senior in high school and I'm going to choose a major soon (although I realize that I can change it). Now, I'm choosing between English, Poli. Sci., or Biology. Now, if I went the Bio route, I'd try to become a doctor, which is something I've always wanted to do. I want t work in a hospital and be constantly busy with helping patients.

If I went the English or Poli. Sci. route, I'd try to become a lawyer, but if I didn't become one, then I wouldn't mind because English and Poli. Sci. create a great foundation for a lot of jobs. Now, I enjoy English and literature more than math/science and am naturally good at it (prolly because I enjoy it), but the outcome of the Bio path is more appealing to me.

Also, I want to do ROTC (I'm a big military buff)in college, whcih means I'd prolly go into the Army. That shouldn't be a problem if I go to Bio route since I'd go to med-school under Military charge and they'd take care of me. But if I went the English route, then I'd try to focus more on Intelligence or maybe even Special Forces, and try to become a Ranger or Green Beret (eventually).

I don't know what to do. My heart is in two places with this one, so I can't exactly follow it.

I worked in a shop for 6 years. We judged cars by how many came in with problems... Did not see too many GTI's (rare around here) But there was a **** ton of Volkswagens -especially the Beetle -they were always **** up with major problems -their owners usually had nothing but bad things to say about them This is in no way scientific, but it is enough evidence for me to never buy one. You just notice trends after a while. Just like if I ever buy a GMC SUV or Truck I will get the alignment fixed first thing off the lot -EVERY ONE of them had inside wear on the front tires caused by alignment issues (they say it is from way they are hipped on the trailers)rawsavon
