Eddie, the headline to this article is very disingenuous. Biden was talking about taxing violent MEDIA, not just games. You have created click bait here and I honestly expect better from Gamespot.
Moving onto the topic though, it would be very difficult get this tax pass as our government would have to tax all mature rated media. Games, movies, books, physical art, and any other type of media that is purchased would have to be taxed. I seriously doubt that any of these industries would take kindly to this (unless they were getting kickbacks of some kind).
What we really need is societal change. Not more useless taxes.
As commercials go it's not to shabby. Tasteful use of dub step, brings the audience into the ad. A little bit over use on the rapid cuts but otherwise a lot better than the bonkers, nightmare inducing advertisements that Sony produced in the past. Anyone remember the baby doll that cried black blood? Yeah. Too bad this one is, most likely, a fake.
So happy that Feedbackula has returned. I enjoy watching Johnny tear into stupid comments. Keep up the good work gang.
Now, one quick comment about the whole "getting paid for reviews" stuff. Enough. It doesn't happen. IF it did then there would be a LOT more games getting higher scores. Also, there is a LOT of work put into reviews. They are not nearly as easy as you think. Trust me. (and no, I don't work for gamespot or any other company that reviews games).
I haven't played a Star Wars game that I enjoyed in years, so because this is the internet, and I am contractually obligated to be negative, I shall poop upon this news.
Willing to bet this game will also require an always-online connection. And it will make those that loved the Sims 1 & 2 hate EA just as much as they do after the Sims 3. My wife is one of them.
