[QUOTE="Johnny-n-Roger"][QUOTE="navyguy21"]ok, im tired of people saying Far Cry 2 lol, its a great game as long as you let go of the COD4-style of linear gameplay!! Its more like a first person GTA4 in Africa. I was with you guys the first time i bought it, i hated all the driving, then i discovered the 5 bus stations and it made it alot better!! Still too much driving, but a GREAT game!!navyguy21It's a sanbox game. That hardly makes it a "first person GTA in Africa." True, the firefights aren't linear, but they all take place in a nearly identical fashion. It probably would've been to the game's benefit to have some sort of linearity. If it wasn't for the fact that I was reminded about mid-way through the game of what my objective was, I would have had no idea why I was doing an assortment of completely unrelated, irrelevant, uninteresting missions that are all carried out in a non-diverse manor. The buses are only a slight convenience. They are few and far between. You still have to engage in multiple firefights at numerous gaurd posts against gaurds with a seemingly preemptive awareness of your presence. While the firefights are initially exciting, it becomes a bit redundant after 30 or so times.i agree with you on those things because the only thing i know about the story is what i read online, and on the box  The respawning gaurd posts are a pain though, its gotten so bad that i try to avoid them by driving through fields and around mountains lol
COD4 it made me feel like no one had ever heard of GRAW or RB6. ALso the game was rife with noobs and ridiculous auto-aim. It was a fun game but after all the eye candy i started realizing it wasnt very special.
