I think Microsoft is wrong to release a 'Pro' version of their console this year. I think they would be better off waiting another year and release a next gen console instead. They could have then used the Ryzen and Vega architecture in their console (can't see the Scorpio using this) and be looking at around 8TF's performance.

Not surprising really, using a combination off DDR3 and ESRAM not only made the RAM slower for the XBOX, but also cost's more to produces as opposed to just using GDDR5.

@freeryu: Sony did release figures and actually sold more console then MS in a shorter time period despite the fact their console cost more.

You need to add Farpoint to the list.

Part of the reason the Xbox One has so few exclusives compared to the PS4 maybe because the PS4 has sold almost twice of what the XB1 has. So when people say it doesn't really matter the PS4 is selling so much better, I think you'll find it does.

Microsoft really needs some more first party IP's!

@obywan: I'm not sure I agree with the. The people who watched the Xbox One presentation are more likely to be your early adopters and hardcore gamers and the impact would of been felt in the first year. I can't imagine people are saying now I won't buy an Xbox One because of their terrible presentation!

Also you saying a console being in a majority then friends of friends are more likely to buy it, which I do kind of agree with, however if we look at the PS3 and 360, the 360 had a years head start on the PS3 and yet the PS3 has sold the same if not more in a shorter period of time and it cost more, so in reality it doesn't ring true.

@Daveof89: I think it matters for exclusives. If you're a games developer and going to make a game exclusive for a console then you are much more likely to choose the console with the bigger market share as you should make a bigger profit, which is partly why the PS4 has more exclusives.
