Well, I'm not. I have a very good reason aswell. Its not an opinion on the game, its not even about the game. I WILL NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER BETHESDA GAME BECAUSE THE ARE **** THEY HAVE TRIED TO SUE NOTCH/MAJONG FOR 10 MIL UPFRONT AND 10 AFTER. BECAUSE NOTCH'S NEW GAME IS CALLED SCROLLS AND THEY FEEL SCROLLS IS TRADEMARKED TO "THE ELDER SCROLLS". This is stupid becuase it would be like apple saying you couldnt use an I in a product becuase it would sound to much like the Iphone. NO! Apple doesn't sure becuase they have no right. BETHESDA HAS NO RIGHT TO SUE MAJONG AND SO I WILL NOT GIVE THEM MY MONEY. Its like what happened with CoD. $15 map pack out on 360, people are just like, meh their **** but I'll give em money anyway, then they now release them all the time. So what you are effectively doing is saying "Oh well let bethesda be***** and I'll still give em my money" Indies are going to be the only devs you can trust soon as all big Devs will be **** because you keep paying them to be ****. So NO I WILL NOT GIVE MY MONEY TO *****!

You can effectively do this. One thing to note though, the preformance of the game will be dependent on the Hardrive and USB port you plug it into. Becuase the PC has to grab the data from the Harddrive, then transfer it then actually execute it, it will most likely be slower than the game would be if you ran it off your in-built hardrive. So it will work but don't expect the same quality, also a good hardrive transfer speed is reccomended. Also if you need to know, to install things to the external hardrive you just have to press "Browse" when selecting where to install it, then you click the external hardrive and tada!

So theres tonnes of talk about big AAA titles and there tends to be lots of hype threads for people to discuss these AAA titles and most of the time more people find out about the game and thats potentially more sales. So I thought we should have a thread where we can share indie game titles and experiences. So I'll start by saying Sanctum is a blast for $15 and Braid is also worth the $10 and Minecraft is worth whatever it costs in your country (in australia its $22). Sanctum is a FPS-Tower Defense hybrid that does an excellent job and is fun with freinds. Braid is a 2d platformer with a unique artstyle and great music, but the thing that sets it apart from other platformers is that you can reverse time and therefore reverse death.Minecraft, well if you are intrested you already own this game. Both of the earlier mentionedgames are worth the cash if they appeal to you. So share some of your favorite indiegames and maybe some fun moments.

So the only LOTR games that are worth even mentioning are LOTRO and maybe the single player LOTR games. What these games lack is the open-world expansiveness I really want. I want to be able to walk along the Shire, I want to travel the woods, the feilds, the mountains, I want the same freedom the characters have in the books, I want to be able to wander like frodo did, I want to be able to get LOST in a forest or just walk the mountain side without being reminded that I'm in a game, I want to be able to go everywhere on MiddleEarth. So even though LOTRO allows me to do some of these things, you always know your in an MMO, you never get lost or have the ability to just wander and explore, also the combat is slow and dice-rollish. I just want a game where middle Earth is open for you to explore but also the combat is good and there is a story if you wish to partake in it. I really can't explain it any better, sorry. Anyway is there a game in development that strives to do these things? Is there even a Developer who could actually undertake such a task? Thanks!

If you don't understand the poster above : http://au.pc.ign.com/articles/118/1185020p1.html you can sell ingame items for reall $$. Worst thing is, it costs money to advertise and to sell, so even if someone doesn't buy your item, you still pay $$$ to advertise.

Well it looks like Blizzard and Acctivision have been chatting. Although you as a player can make money, it costs $ to even advertise the item and then money to sell it. So say its $1 to advertise and $1 to sell, and you sell for $2:50, yeah $00.50 thats not much. And if you don't even sell the item thats $$$ wasted advertising

Well I don't know if they left anything out but what I can say is this. Digital Download services add 2-8GB to the required amount to allow space for updates/patches. It would be annoying if you had 15GB left on your harddrive and steam stated a game took 10GB, so you download the game thinking 5GB will be enough for any other things, pictures, videos, word docs ect. But then the game has a 5GB update, then you have no space and you just used 15GB of download for a game you may delete. Whereas if steam/D2D/GoG/Gamersgate adds 5GB to the "required" amount on launch, then you make sure you have the steam "required" amount and you can be safe knowing you will still have enough after any updates. If that makes sense. Example being, TF2 on launch was around 4GB now its 11GB, so if it still said 4GB on steam you may start the download expecting 4GB downloading and instead have to download 11GB. Becuase steam says 11GB you know exactly what you are downloading.

definitely get witcher 2. RPG of the year rivaled only by skyrim.woonsa

While we are on the PC forum, Witcher 2 > Skyrim. Bethesda stated that the PC version wouldn't be as good as the console version and would be a port.
