[QUOTE="shivamnath"]So I have played Deus Ex Human Revolution and it is the best game ever. If you have played it I am sure it is your's best game too . Anyways I want to know about some other games similar to DX:HR. Please tell me about them.

The original Deus Ex. If you loved Human Revolution that much, you will never buy another game after playing Deus Ex. Make sure you pick up a gaphical mod though, This one's good Other than Deus Ex, you've got Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, which you should also love. It's more RPGy than Deus Ex, and it's about vampires and all that good stuff, but it has the same feel as Deus Ex in a lot of ways, so I recommend it. MAKE SURE YOU PICK UP THE COMMUNITY PATCH! Then there's EYE Divine Cybermancy, which is also like Deus Ex in a lot of ways. After that you've got Alpha Protocol. All of the above games are great, worth the time and the money. Check them out, they will keep you entertained for at least 100 hours.

Hawken keys have been sent out to pretty much anyone that has signed up. I've played both MechWarrior Online and the Hawken alpha, it's lightning fast paced compared to MWO and I really like directional dashing so this is my go to game for mech combat now as opposed to Crysis Wars: Living Legends mod or MWO if we were being overly general and really lazy I'd say Hawken is like the Chivalry of mech combat games and MWO is like the WOTR of mech combat games.Zubinen
And what's the Mount and Blade of Mech games? I'm interested in mech games and am definitely downloading HAWKEN asap, but out of medieval games Mount and Blade is my favourite, so for your analogy, is there a Mount and Blade of Mech games?

I'm running a 550ti 1GB, 4GB RAM and a Quad core 3.6GHz AMD FX4100. I get a constant 40 FPS while exploring, 34-35 while in shoot-outs. This is all on Very High. I have the NVIDIA beta drivers.

I really, really like it. It's soo fast paced, and while at the start you are sort of lost, once you get the hang of things, you have a lot of fun!

Had an awesome moment yesterday. Me and 2 guys from my class took a base in Red territory (we are blue), by ourselves. We were at the bottom left of Amerish deep in Red territory, the closest blue area was more than halfway up the map. I really should have taken a screenshot.EliteM0nk3y
If the closest NC area was more than halfway up the map, you are lying. You see, they implemented this system that stops people from 'back-capping'. You have to have one of your own coloured areas touching another area to capture it. Sorry buddy.

6 Hours!!!! Depends on the download size, but I probably won't be playing for at least 6 hours after release (seeing as it releases at 4am here and the download will take forever)

No, not from my beta experience, I'd say its a pretty fair system. You can buy XP boosts, which help you to gain upgrades for weapons and vehicles but you can earn all that by just playing the game. It's free at least give it a shot :)

So, I didn't see a thread for it, and decided it needed one. So, Planetside 2? "PlanetSide 2 takes all the groundbreaking features from the original game massive multiplayer battles, distinct empires to rally around, and enormous continents where intense ground and air combat unfolds and adds features that modern gamers have come to expect out of the FPS and MMO genres. With advanced technology, years of gamer feedback, and a new SOE proprietary MMO game engine called Forgelight, PlanetSide 2 offers a truly competitive and visceral FPS experience with massive warfare, massive customization and massive community. Across the continents of Auraxis, thousands of players will come together in enormous battles to win control of critical territories and key resources for their empire. With a an extensive skill tree and free-form class-based system, players will be able to customize their soldier, weapons and vehicles to match their play-style, as well as the needs of their squad, outfit or empire. Battles can last for days or weeks, so players will need to build alliances and specialized combat outfits to take on long-term strategic and tactical initiatives. With air and ground combat, the battles will be larger and more intense than ever. KEY FEATURES: MASSIVE WARFARE: Battles will take place not between dozens of troops, but hundreds; with air and ground vehicles slugging it out alongside squads of troops. Whether in open fields, tightly-packed urban centers or enormous structures, winning will require strategic teamwork and a quick trigger finger in the massive battles. THREE EMPIRES: Players will have their choice to join three different empires: TERRAN REPUBLIC With a militaristic government, the Terran Republic uses its Imperial authoritarian might to impel humanity to peaceful coexistence through any means necessary. NEW CONGLOMERATE A loosely connected group of rebel factions and idealistic freedom fighters, the New Conglomerate fights against the hegemony of the Terran. VANU SOVEREIGNTY A technocratic faction that believes humanity can only evolve by rediscovering and tapping the lost technology of the Vanu. BATTLE FOR TERRITORIES & RESOURCES: The core gameplay of PlanetSide 2 is about holding key territories and controlling valuable resources. Each battleground holds valuable resources and key positions, and the empire that can conquer (and manage to hold) these territories will be rewarded with fuel bonuses, ammo bonuses, tech bonuses, and more.Persistence: In Planetside 2 battles will last longer than a match timer. Battles will last for days or weeks, and finally taking control of the base means its yours until someone can take it back. Working strategically as a team to capture key tactical positions such as power plants and ammo depots will have long-lasting effects that can shift the tide of battle. ENORMOUS MAPS: PlanetSide 2 will launch with several continent maps; every inch of which will be contestable space. With the new territorial control meta-game, landmass will have intrinsic value even without notable installations or major features. FREE-FORM CLASS-BASED SYSTEM: Players will be able to unlock diverse combat roles by advancing through the skill tree, including several classic roles from PlanetSide. As players unlock new roles, they will be able to switch between them at will. MISSION SYSTEM: Both SOE and players will be able to drive content, easing new players into the game and allowing veterans to feed content to players. SKILL TREES: Players will be able to build their soldier to match their play-style, or to match the needs of their squad, outfit or empire. Each combat role, vehicle and weapon will have extensive skill trees. These cert trees will allow players to grow characters laterally, unlocking weapons, attachments, equipment, specialized skills, and more. OUTFITS: Outfits (guilds) will also be able to customize themselves allowing outfits to have their own identity, reputation and role in the ongoing war. WEAPONS: Players will be able to access more than 20 basic weapons, which can be customized to players preference or purpose. VEHICLES: More than 10 vehicles with two unique vehicles per empire. Players will be able to customize each vehicle, unlocking new skills and features" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSrOjOMmpIkhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rjx9IgFx37whttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rjx9IgFx37whttp://www.planetside2.com/overview Can't wait!
