[QUOTE="EddieTheGreat"]The idea of making a novel of a game seems weird..Iqen
I agree. I can't just imagine reading about Halo or Mass Effect.

Im ok with the halo books because no matter how you play the story stays the same. Mass effect gives you too many choices in game to expand upon like that. My Shepard might not be anything like yours. I haven;t read it but the only way I can see it working was if it was based on other secondary characters

Halo: The Fall of Reach - Amazing book, really get into the life and hardships the Spartan's have faced. Best one out of them all :D

Halo: The Flood - Skip, skip, skip. Hated this book. Pretty much retells the story of Halo 1. Sucks.

Halo: First Strike - A must read, not as good as TFoR, but creates a bridge between Halo 1 + 2.

Halo: Ghosts of Onyx - Loved this one as well, nearly as good as TFoR in my opinion. Awesome stuff.

There are still Halo: Uprising and Contact Harvest which I haven't read. I only enjoy the Halo games for their storyline and even that can't compare to the storyline in the novels. Great books if you're interested in the Halo series and want to know how Master Chief became the person he is in the games.

I agree with what you said and I enjoyed them all. The second gives you some more detail as to what was going on around the chief in the first halo like were he kept getting from place to place and were all his backup kept coming from but it would be more fun to just play the campaign again.stay away from the graphic novel though that was terrible

Im probably the only one who would say this but a sequel to Infinite Undiscovery. I really enjoyed that game with its combat. I would want them to take their time on the game though and have higher production values. rdgd92

I lkied it too but I am happy with the way it ended, I could't picture it haveing a true sequel. Maybe just call a game IU2 but have a new setting and characters like Final Fantasy does but keep the same basic gameplay.

I was the opposite loved it first but got sick of it fairly quickly it wasn't so much the charaters as the combat. I can't stand the VATS system and people say you can play with out it but I couldn't nothing seemed to ever die. two headshot with the VATS would kill just most things but two headshots w/o it and enemies just kept coming

Honestly, I rather see them make an even cheaper model. Maybe a 20GB, with no wi-fi, so u need to plug in to get net, less usb jacks, just base of the line for all the casual gamers... Considering they sell blue ray itself at the PS3's price u might as well get a PS3.... I bet u if they made a base of the line model it would cost them less and make more money. As far as it is 400+ dollars, when the guy is making like 50 bucks an hour, and then you need to get the parts and everything its very easy to have each system costing you close to 800-1000 bucks.... Atleast that is my guess.... Finally if the PS3 wants to excel, they need to find a way to sell their games.... Uncharted just broke 1 million in North America, they need more of those kind of numbers.... I find that PS3 consumers are very conservative and that might have a great deal to do with the price of the games they wish to purchase.... rahul_batta

I don't consider myself a casual gamer but I would have got a 20gb non wifi PS3 with less ports, If it still had backwards compatibility, Instead of the mteal gear bundle I bought.

[QUOTE="cronew1"]I love games like this it doesn't seem as competitive as Halo COD and Gears I go to it when i want a break from those games. I used to do the same with shadowrun. Any one still play that?kamikaze_pigmy
I played shadowrun for ages then stopped, now when I go back I'm just so less skilled than everyone else. Hopefully I'll pick it up again, as it's brilliant if you're good.

Im surprised people still play. I loved it but when the studio closed and people realized that there was gonna be no DLC they moved onto other games, Its a shame it didn't have a single player, I had hoped it was gonna be another big exclusive franchise
