[QUOTE="V4LENT1NE"]You cant blame WOW for being such a good game lol. Blame the other MMO developers for not putting as much care and attention into their games that Blizzard does.canoecamue

Semi-true, the issue with the other games is that they havent had years of patches and expantions to develop the game. So if a new mmo appears (AofC, Warhammer, etc) and isnt as fine tuned as wow is, we say the game suxxors and maintain our lining of Blizz's pockets, causing the new fish to keel over and die (and never progress into a finely tuned mmo). It will take a very epic premise to dwarf WoW (cant wait till World of Starcraft or WOW2! lolz).

/thread

WoW was pretty polished even at launch. I played in Open/Closed Beta and moved on to the release game straight away. There were server instability issues and a few bugs, but other than that it was as polished as you would expect for a Blizzard game.

Age of Conan didn't even have working in-game stats when it launched, which is fairly inexcusable for a stat based MMO.

I'm not saying that WoW was perfect when it launched, but it wasn't nearly as buggy and unfinished as some of the newer released MMO's. Which is part of the reason it was, and still is so popular.

USA more variety in everything. diff people. diff weather.. more lulzkikman5
Different weather? Australia is one of the most diverse countries in the world in that regard. We have everything from arid deserts to sub tropical rainforests, and everything in between. And regardless of what you've heard, we do have cold weather in Winter. It's not scorching hot every single day, all year long. We're also one of the most multi-cultural countries in the world, so your first point is not real valid either. ;)

[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"][QUOTE="cru3"][QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"] Dude, you need more than a cricket bat to fight off the spider you just posted.

You don't have to squish those, they're completely harmless. They're actually good to have around. The worst ones we have are Sydney Funnel Webs, since they don't run when you go near them, they'll actually rear up and physically jump at you and go your feet/legs.

Dont have to kill them? You ****ing KIDDING man?

No ;) I hate cockroaches way more than spiders. Huntsman Spiders eat them. I've never been scared of spiders though, I used to pick up Huntsmans and take them outside at my mothers place so she wouldn't kill them. Spiders are pretty amazing animals once you get over the look of them. ;)

Lol @ the people who think we have giant spiders tearing apart our cities. Like any nation we have spiders; like most spiders they are poisonous. Like many countries our most deadly animals are out in the wilderness where people are stupid enough for going into, and probably deserve to be bitten by deadly spiders and scorpions, snakes etc for going there in the first place.

Plus things like Kangaroos and Koalas aren't cute either. They are wild animals, and as such it in in their nature to tear people apart.

We have some novel things, beaches, sunshine, but it gets old fast. Living here sucks. I know I already posted and said Australia for everythging else, but really I hate living here. I like Australian culture a little bit more though.

Its funny because they think were fighting of poisnious spider with a cricket bat on a daily basis:P

[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"][QUOTE="_rock_"]:o you better not come to Australia then:P, a few days ago we had a spider in our lounge about the size of my palm:P_rock_

I'd freak the **** out if saw that crawling around my living room. Im never going to your country.

It wasn't poisnious, it was friendly:) This is what it looked like

Hunstmen are awesome. They eat all the cockroaches and other bugs in your house. We get a fair few of them around here, they get pretty massive. Nice spiders though, better than finding a funnel web/orb weaver :P

[QUOTE="Baconbits2004"]

First person to make me laugh today, it's like I already know today won't suck thanks to nimatoad. :) I vote USA, this austrailian girl on MSN keeps telling me about these huge spiders, and saying that she eats them. :oBaconbits2004

thank you for appreciating my style of humor. i swear some people just cant take a joke over the internet, and they get all offended.. i say what i think. sorry i'm not going to be fake and nice all the time to ppl i dont even know online.

Well, misunderstood humor is something I can relate to... I was once banned from a site, for giving the admin this picture... he thought I was saying he was the guy on the left. :P http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v187/ssj4_2004/keepitrealhomies.jpg On topic, I don't think I'd survive in austrailia.. since I have a terrible fear of spiders. If the place isn't "infested" with them as people would like me to believe, then i think it'd be a nice place to visit.

It's not like you're stepping over them every day walking down the street. We don't have them in extreme numbers, we just have a higher proportion of poisonous ones.

That's a crapload of gangs, dude :P We don't have much of the American style gangs in Australia. Not on that scale anyway. We have a lot of bikies.. Hells Angels, Bandidos, Comancheros, Rebels etc etc... We also have criminal gangs that are on ethnic lines where I live as well, Pacific Islanders, Lebanese etc... Then of course you also have surf gangs since we have heaps of beaches, Bra Boys and a few others. Basically it all comes down to criminal gangs most of the time. The bikies are actually in the news a lot at the moment, there's been heaps of fights. drive bys and bombing between them the last month or two.

Me either.

Yeah I was waiting for the TC to explain it, guess not :|

Posting any real details on that website is usually a bad idea. The people there have a habit of finding out your details off the net and messing with you in RL.
