The director of Babylon AD hated his own movie. See Traitor.

The Witcher was not based off of the NWN2 engine, it was based off of the original NWN engine. With obvious improvements. But I will also concede that, regardless of graphics, Mask of the Betrayer had one of the best stories I've ever played. But if you're looking for dungeon crawlers like Dungeon Siege, Space Siege (sci-fi version) just came out, and there's always Diablo 2. You could risk it with Hellgate London if you wanted to, but there's not much story at all.

No, this movie is one of those (somewhat) rare cases where everything about it is bad.

I wrote the scripts for all of them in middle school, and these guys stole them. True story.

7/10. He can throw himself into a role very well, but never to the point where my disbelief is completely suspended. Except for maybe Gangs of New York.

He's kind of like Edward Norton, in that you can expect the same kind of performance in every movie, so you are constantly reminded that the character isn't real and is just an actor.

Because they were bad? Because the characters were one-dimensional? Because of the terrible script and thin plot? I think those are reasons...

Well, I'm still getting it. Reason being: it takes the loot whoring from Diablo 2 (the only part I liked) and adds combat that doesn't suck. And at least the story tries to give a social commentary, unlike every other hack-n-slash out there.

The following is my take on the whole thing, if you want to talk about it, PM me, I'd rather not clutter up the thread.

Also, I get the feeling that a lot of the press is basing their reviews for this game against some unattainable golden standard, rather than other titles of similar ilk, which is what they do for most games. Which leaves games that try to mix things up (such as Too Human) entirely dependent on how they rank against this golden standard, as opposed other games of its kind, which there really haven't been before. Advent Rising suffered the same fate. It was a fairly unique type of game (still partially a shooter, I know), which had many of the same issues that other games had, but for whatever reason, seemed to be rated in pieces rather than the sum of its parts. Like, if the reviewer hasn't come across something like this before, they break it down into components and view each one individually.

All I'm saying is, Advent Rising was panned, but I liked it enough to play it four times (in a week) before trading it in. Assassin's Creed was given substantial demerits for being repetitive, but for me it wasn't boring in any way. Because I didn't overanalyze.

LSD doesn't just affect the eyes. Many people with perfect vision will take it in a sensory deprivation tank (Joe Rogan, for one). Others will sometimes just blindfold themselves and listen to music. You can have a powerful trip without seeing anything out of the ordinary, essentially.

Yeah. I like a few of DragonForce's songs, which apparently is a musical sin greater than buying 1,000 Hannah Montana and Soulja Boy albums.MetroidPrimePwn

It's not worse, it's just equally bad. Which is to say it doesn't get much lower. But they're not worse than each other.
