[QUOTE="crucifine"]Yeah, I do admit, I find it strange that something like Salvia (which is legal) causes mental problems in a sizeable amount of people, compared to LSD (which is illegal), which hasn't been much of an issue in terms of mental stability.  However, Salvia is a good example of why you shouldn't mess with hallucinogens just to know what a hallucinogen feels like.  I'd stake money on many of those mental cases being people who wanted to trip for the sake of tripping (instead of exploring art, music, and nature), and they didn't want to get in trouble with the law, so they unwisely decided to do Salvia, which is, from my observations, fourth in terms of potency, behind DMT, LSD, and Mescaline.halfnaked
LSD is around 1000 times more potent then DMT, the active dose is measured in micrograms

I know it is in terms of size of dose comparison, but in terms of one typical dose and it's effects on the person, DMT has a much more intense experience.  If we were to take as much LSD as a DMT hit, we would not have a good time.

Regarding my friend doing 70x, he had done acid 27 days over a 30 day period before that, and he turned out fine.  If that didn't get him, I doubt anything would.

As for how you take it, you can chew the leaves, yes, but if you're using extract, you have to smoke it.  Bong rips are better, because you have the option of cooling down the smoke with ice for a less harsh hit.  And the more smoke you get, the more vivid the experience.

As for it costing 60 bucks for a gram of 20x, it doesn't normally cost that much.  And besides, a gram of 20x is enough for at least 16 people to get one good hit.

As for it being called "drugs", it's a legal form of incense that incidentally has hallucinogenic qualities.  It has been used for thousands of years by south american natives as a cure for digestive problems.

As for finding it, like I said, it's available in quite a few headshops.  If you don't know where any are, you could order some online (unless you live in Australia, the only country to abolish it).  If you don't have a credit card, try talking to someone who might know where to get those kinds of things (the plant, not the credit cards).

The Hobbit never happened, so I doubt this will be made into a movie.SolidSnake35

The Hobbit still could happen, only Peter Jackson won't be directing it, and everyone wants him to.  The only option is for another studio to get the rights to Tolkien's books.  And personally, I don't want to see this as a movie.  It's a history of dwarves, just like the Silmarillion was a history of elves.  Which ends up being kind of boring as a film.

Besides, there's a Conan the Barbarian movie coming out next year.

No, but I've read and heard dozens of reports.  I fully know what to expect in terms of effects when I do.

To the guy looking for it, google maps your city and do a search for tobacco smoking accessories, see if that turns anything up.  If not, try to find a Karmic Connections store in your city.  I think they're a chain, but I'm not sure.

I don't know where they got the 70x or how much it cost.  I have seen 60x available online, and heard of 80 and 120x before.  It's widely available online, and many head shops sell it (places that sell incense, tobacco smoking accessories, glass pieces, etc.).  They often have advertisements on the radio, on alternative or classic rock stations.

i've heard it really sucks.romocop33

It's intensity varies per person.  A lot of people might have had a better experience if they had started with a weaker extract, smaller hit, or even by using the leaf itself.

I haven't yet, but plan on doing it in the next month.  I know all about it, that it's legal (mods you technically can't lock this then, could you?).  A couple of my friends took some 70x extract once, and my one friend was wearing a WWII helmet and holding the pointy bit of a bayonet.  As soon as it hit him, he thought he had been shot, and that his friend had already been killed by the germans.  I'll keep an eye on this and post my experience with it when I finally do try it.

However, I'm taking one and a half geltabs of acid tomorrow night.

[QUOTE="crucifine"]alright, Buddy Rich>Sean Reinert>everyone else, in my book.  I watched some of the Terry Bozzio videos, he's pretty good, but I think he's using that massive kit to compensate for something...SimpJee
Owned. Is that a Warr guitar in your sig? Arctopus maybe?

My avatar?  That's Chaoth, the bassist from uneXpect.  It's a custom 9-string bass, which he plays like a regular bass instead of a chapman stick.  Lots of slapping.
