first of all, you have to be at war to commit a war crime. saddam was hanged due to his 1982 murders, he wasn't hanged because what happened in 2003.

[QUOTE="Gamerz1569"][QUOTE="cubemovies"] iraq wasn't about terrorism, it was seperate from Al Quada. And the airstrike on Badghdad 2003 was genocide, in intent of killing Iraqi's, in order to give Saddam up after 48 hours

Same concept as the nuclear bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the history books didn't call it genocide. It is a necessary evil sometimes to kill the monster you have to become the monster. But again genocide is the deliberate killing of a group, the invasion on Iraq was not about killing Iraqis it was about fighting terrorism. The reason why the US dropped bombs was to save lives, if they had stormed the city instead of calling in an airstrike to coerce the Iraqis to give up Saddam more would have died --both Iraqis and Americans.

Iraq conflict in 2003 was genocide in attempt to kill the national government and national religious involvment between church and state, in attempt to create a democracy to alter the conditions of life between the Sunni and Shiites at the cost of civilian lives. there was no threat to the United States at the given time, nor did Al Qauda roam the streets in Iraq at this point in time This is Genocide

[QUOTE="cubemovies"]Bush did destroy the whole part of "national" Iraq, and forced democracy on them, altering their conditions of life. The insurgents are no longer soldiers, and gitmo provided torture on these civilians. They are civilians defending invaders, if military no longer exists So that means kidnapping, murder, and genocide Gamerz1569

US invaded to fight terrorism (and get oil to boot) the objective was never to kill innocent civilians. Therefore it is not genocide.

If your argument is about civilians getting killed and abused by American soldiers there then thats War Crimes not genocide.

They are civilians defending invaders, if military no longer exists So that means kidnapping, murder, and genocide based on the Geveva convention. If Saddam wasn't overthrown, then the rules of engagement would be war. it wasn't war

[QUOTE="cubemovies"][QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"]

You are kidding yourself if you think that the Iraq war is genocide. If you want an example of genocide, look at what Saddam Hussein did to the Kurds.

-Sun_Tzu-
no americans were killed on american soil, which = genocide

I hate to break it to you, but that does not make it genocide.

any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national group, as such: killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life, it's genocide this pertains to insurgents and guantomino bay

[QUOTE="my_mortal_coil"]

The best music tends to filter through the mesh of time. Boy that metaphor sounded stupid to me just now ...

Meaning, the perpetual wave of modern music that is constantly being generated is MOSTLY crap. It's trendy, inane, self-replicating, radio-friendly CRAP. The older a piece of music gets and is still considered good by audiophiles and music lovers, the more all the other stuff drops off. Looking back at all the music that has ever been created is like looking at a vintage car catalogue or all the great structures around the world that human-kind has built.

Only the best is left.
