@sam628: Wouldn't you say majority of games always have one setting. just that other settings are far more substantial in size and diversity.

The problem is that the demo is the only way one could have gotten a taste before purchasing.

Due to that I guess in time it'll get attention as it goes down in price.

Ultimately could the developer have done a better job with the demo? Not sure.

@Villen_Anj: I think the problem is if you look at the games that have a 9 or a 10.

They tend not to be boring at all. plenty of missions, plenty of locations. amuses you etc.

The fact is that you liked it enough to feel it deserves a better score. But the reviewers have different tastes and also have somewhat a guideline to follow.

Perhaps if you were to think back and remember all the games you have played ever. Where would this fall in rank compared to the best game you have ever played.

@commander: I think it was meant to be bland and lifeless as it is a space horror simulation rather.

The end plot would make sense as it turns out to be a simulation in the end where the world is consumed by the mimics.

To be fair (no pun intended). I was happy enough to play the demo to help make my decision. I'm not fond of this type of game where others may be.

Would it have been any different if they released Hitman as a complete title? rather than in parts. or it could of beeen nothing to do with that.

Personally I did wait for the entire complete season to be released before I bought the game.

It is a shame in deed.

@jdillander91: Plan to do exactly this. Just got a Pro and after playing on original PS4. Will find the highest peak and just take it all in with the right expression and pose!!!
