Really good point. it shows that in reality the "true score" probably is the AVERAGE (*cough* go to gamerankings *cough*). No one is arguing with the criticisms...just the arbitrary number. It's clear that what matters is what you think of the actual review. You know whether or not online or single player means more to you and you yourself know what graphics means to you, etc. In my opinion, reading the reviews, Gamespot is probably closer to the real review score than IGN, but many will disagree. I haven't played yet, but from the reviews, and my preferences, I would have scored it an 8.0.
yeah it sounds like this game is a step down from new york...too bad...I really liked the old gameplay. On the other hand, I'm a big fan of environmental stuff so maybe that will make up for it. Either way I'll only be paying 20 bucks for it because of a relative at EA.
I hate dealing with this kind of person. If he wants help, why doesn't he actually post a good description of the problem rather than spouting crap in broken English?
sorry I'm harsh...but for all we know this is some idiot from Microsoft trying to make it sound like PS3s are failing.
I firmly believe that all PS3 owners are happy about the news. All of it. The people complaining ARE NOT PS3 OWNERS!! Half of them were probably hired by Microsoft (we already know they do this)...so just ignore them. They're stupid!
I was only saying that Home was a for sure thing. The update list that has been going around I don't believe at all. I'm sure some of it will appear, but I would not be surprised if that was microsoft trying to get fans' hopes up so that they could be disappointed come GDC. Home is real though!
