I honestly think this was just laziness and the fact that they want to get it out for a March release. Plus, they want it to be a graphical dream and it would take just that much extra work to make it look good in split screen too. I guarantee it'll be there in a sequel.
Blu-Rays look crazy good but I don't reccomend it to someone on a budget because you won't be able to watch DVD's anymore and thus make your DVD collection obsolete. DaAzNJRiCh
I love the graphics (I think it's awesome that they are reaching on par/near xbox 360 graphics right out the gate)
I love my sixaxis (I always forgot about rumble when i played games, and I see real potential in the sixaxis motion control...) Oh, and I love that it plugs in with USB and charges so easily.
I love Blu-ray (I'm a movie whore and I think it looks SOOOO GOOD). On a side note...I love James Bond and Spider-Man too (Sony makes good movies).
I love being able to store all of my movies, pictures, and songs on the system. That's right...ALL OF THEM. No problem. They look great, I can access them anytime, and I still have harddrive space left.
I love being wireless (OUT OF THE BOX!)
I love being able to play online FOR FREE! I cannot stand subscriptions...cheap as they may be, they make me nervous, and I feel anxious when I can't play because I feel like I'm paying for nothing. I couldn't stand it when I played FFXI.
I love separate friends lists (I know this might be going away but I'd much rather have the ability to import friends, than have one unified friends list with a limit...I like having Resistance only friends while keeping the people I actually talk to on my main buddy list).
I love having the internet on my PS3. Whenever I don't have my laptop on me, it's way easier to just click that PS button and check a phone number or email online.
I love how pretty it is. It's black and hot and totally matches my TV.
I love that it compliments my PSP and allows me to get Crash Bandicoot and does the remote play feature so that I can send messages, watch my movies, listen to music from anywhere in my house.
I love that I could sell my PS2 because the PS3 has full backwards compatibility.
I love that it doesn't have a powerbrick and remains cool all the time!
I love that it doesn't give me ANY PROBLEMS! EVEN AS A LAUNCH SYSTEM!
It makes you feel all tingly inside doesn't it? I love it. between this and the blu-ray making hd-dvd its (disappearing) b*tch...i'm smiling like crazy.
