@surfepic Nobody cares. Yeah we all want a Ferrari, but that doesn't make the Ford F150 a POS now does it? No, it just makes the guy who pays such high maintenance costs on his European car look silly.
And now it's like you come on here...selling Ferraris to people who are interested in gas mileage. Sustainability is the key to the future, not horsepower.
@Vexov Actually, I'd argue it was on the PS4 first and then ported to other consoles. With the early release of the BETA and every indication towards favoritism that Bungie has given, they are leaning heavily on the PS4 platform and believe that a majority of their players are going to be coming from that console. Thus far, with sales and everything, they'd be correct.
@TERMINATOR-SSD @cnx2022 Destiny is developed specifically on the Playstation 4 I believe, and then ported to every other console. This will not detract from the game if you have an Xbox One or a PS4.
Destiny is perhaps the most ambitious and hyped up next-gen game to date. I would define this a next-gen must have if it lives up to its expectations, so I'm afraid that if you're really set against it because it can allow for PS3 and Xbox 360 players to interface with it as well, then you'll be missing out.
So...from everything I've read, witnessed, and experienced first hand...this is my understanding thus far:
Xbox One: Apparently better console exclusives.
Playstation 4: Apparently better hardware, for gaming at least.
Considering that there are a huge number of games that will rock on both systems, such as Destiny, Elder Scrolls Online, Watch Dogs etc....I'm happy that I went with the hardware choice.
If I get one, it'll be a Playstation 4. Why? Specs. Not games. Neither system has really developed their A games out right now, so why the hell rush to the store? But that one guy had a point: Nintendo beat both with their game line-up, mainly because Bethesda and Bungie are taking their sweet time with 2014 releases.
I wonder if Kotick has a single fan in the world. Does anybody actually like him? Please, I need to know, so I can explain to you how deep his douchebaggery goes.
"Majority will be held by shareholders..." what they don't say is that Kotick will want to buy most of this stock. He loooooves his money. Not that there's anything wrong with that. What's wrong with him is that he doesn't care about his company. He's not a gamer. He doesn't play any of his games. I hate him not because he's rich, but because he's what's wrong with the business world nowadays: A CEO who doesn't give 2 shits about their products.
