For rpg, i really you should check out the world ends with you.Its one of the most uniqe game i've ever played. It is 40 bucks(i think, square always prices games they make for 40 -_-) but it is really fun. It starts out slow, then picks up as with most jrpgs(it has some good plot twists).

And what is your budget? If you go to the main message board on ds, there is a stickied topic on some great games.

the truth is, COD4 dosen't take as much skill as css. Css takes alot of skill to master, and if you do, its one of the best fps out there. The whole depth involved draws people in, while kicks out noobs ^_^.

wii should be able to handle half life 2 since it was on the orginal x-box. I dont know about the other games but i assume if their downgraded to the min it should work.

Elann2008

I doubt it. It barely could even handle Okami, Zelda, and its predecessor's game - Resident Evil 4. All these three ports should have had updated graphics. If only Wii first party developers worked as hard as the guys (Capcom team)who made Resident Evil 4 on the Wii. The game still looks good till this day but you cant help but to wonder - What if Nintendo used the Wii's hardware to improve the graphics? Lazy developers = casual games = disappointment. Although I agree that gameplay is more important than graphics but this is next-gen. Give us something. The Wii doesnt have to look like 360 or PS3 games (HD) but at least make it look clean, crisp, and clear. That's all I ask...

What? Read what you wrote before you post it because you made just no sense.

You said that the wii couldn't HANDLE the three games you mentioned. Then you said it was because of the developers were lazy. If this made sense, i'd hand out cookies to my neighboors.

LMAO at Jasonguy's Okami issue.

I bet there could be a way to bring RE5 onto the Wii and have the same graphics as the 360 or the PS3. I wouldn't be surprize if it were later released on the Wii, a few months after RE5's release. Like when RE4 was released on the Gamecube then was ported onto the PS2 afew months later... but i'm not holding my breath.

slimdave21

LMAO at you...actually both of you.(tc)

How on EARTH would you get the graphic power of a 360 game into a Wii? I'm not even going to say why, you should figure it out instead of hacing someone else tell you so. And for the porting of RE4, *laughs*

You made me feel alittle smarter ^_^

Think about it, we wanted RE4 remake for wii. They didn't want to do it, but there was such overwhelming fan support for it, they just gave in and did it. Same with okami. they hand no intention of redoing okami until they got bombarded with fan-mail demanding it.

Jaysonguy

Completely false

They already had the framework done for RE4. All they had to do was overlay the Gamecube layers on the PS2 content and add Wiimote functions and sell t again.

As for Okami it's one of the biggest failures in recent gaming that was so bad it helped shut down an entire studio. Capcom's powers that be knew that all they had to do was port it over and add some Wiimote functions (half of which are broken) to try to make some money off of the title.

I should really steal all the tooth brushes and any other dental products in your house for saying that Okami is a failure. Care to explain why Okami is a failure? Its a great work of art, and i think the company was fired because of something else..>_> Get ready to get people up to your neck telling you wrong >_>.

[QUOTE="mrfett2k"]huh i hadn't heard of Christian parents not wanting their kids to play games with magic. that seems very odd to me. magic is make-believe. if it was real, and dangerous (like violence), then i could see the objection, but why forbid playing a game with pretend concepts? because you believe it's real? this is kind of scary to me. making "magic" something forbidden seems to be a way of encouraging your kids to believe in superstition. but whatever floats your boat i guess. free country, so ppl can teach their kids whatever kind of whacky stuff they want. btw, i'm not trying to be snarky. i'm genuinely perplexed.WiiMan21

Magic is thought to be "evil" because of how they brack the rules of the creator. Am i correct?Just winging a guess -_-

But we have to respect everyones decisions and religions here.

Well, My mom doesn't care much for that stuff, I play Zelda and stuff like that. But my mom is just a bit overley protective of what I do, she doesn't want things to desensitize me.

but the thing is, did you read my other post?

I mean, if you already have the game, why couldn't you buy it?O_O

Just curious.
