I hate these topics.

First of all,how would we know if you want a wii? Why not do some reasearch on your own? It just proves that your not thinking at all at this point, just want to ask us for all the information. Look at some one of the games, YOU try to figure out of the wii is good for you.

And secondly, what kind of place is this? Its the wii forum, and what do you expect from people who own the wii? They'll obviously say "go buy it". Thats like asking an icecream man "should i buy an icecream?". Of course he'll say yes, and tell you about all the good things about it. Then when you eat the icecream, you'll realize its full of sugar and calories, and try to throw it up(this should be taken very lightly -_-).

Its the same for the wii. I've seen many people buy the wii, then just sell it because they say "its to gimmicky" or "all the games suck". I'm not trying to be mean, just helpful. Do some of your own research, and then you decide if you want a wii or not.

Just curious. Is there any way to stop this? Any reason for it specifically?

Almost everyone who said play metroid probbabbly never played okami.

But yes, get mp3 out of the way so that you can enjoy okami fully.

Didn't some other guy also buy a console from this guy?

Isn't that the seller who's picking consoles "RANDOMLY" out of a pile of refurbished ones?

Anyway, here's the 360 I'm bidding on. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna win. Not for $2, I'm sure. I set up a maximum bid that no one will beat. I guarantee it. I made sure the box said "Go Pro". That means it has the Falcon chipset (and therefore, HDMI).

Also made sure it's new AND sealed.

You need to also be certain that the seller doesn't have much negative feedback.

Making_Pudding

Why would people be selling them so cheap!?!?

Because of demand. If you know ebay, you know that demand drives people to bid more than its worth. There are some crazy people who just bid for fun O_O. That systme is probbably going to be about 250-350.

And the guy whos selling it seems to have good feedback.. I mean, they say positive things ,but i think it was before they got their item..

And if it DOSEN'T have the new falcon chip theres a better chance of rrod , am i correct? Is there any way to prevent the rrod? And what causes the rrod?

That's right. It'll end at no more than $300 (shipping price included). That's why I'm so sure I'll win. I already put a max bid that is higher than that. :D

I picked him because he lives 30 miles from my house and has no negatives. :D

is this your first xbox 360?and you should have looked into this guy..

i followed one of the system and it sold for 280..not to shabby...

I wouldn't touch one of those consoles. The description says they are refurbished consoles, which means there was a fault with them and have since been repaired, but not returned to the original owner, who was given another console. What you have bought is one of the older model 360's that someone else sent back because it broke.

That seller may offer a warranty, but depending on what was done to the console, and who did the "repairs" any warranty with Microsoft may already have been voided by opening the case.

If it works you have a good deal, but it is risky

Avenger1324

well, if it breaks, i have 30 days to get a real warrenty(which refunds all money) so i have a safty net just in case.

HDMI port is another cable that gives you hi-def picture quality. It is found on 360's made around September-October of 2007 and after. I don't know about buying a used 360, since it is opened already since he said it has an upgraded fan this voids any warranty through Microsoft. If you have a 1080p TV then HDMI would come in handy but if not then the included, well should be included, component cables will do the job just fine. TM1

So an upgraded fan voids warrenty? I mean, i thought the upgraded fan was just something new to stop the RRoD. So there isn't an fan in a noraml xbox 360? I'm confused.

I have a bad feeling...but it said when i bought the console on ebay that it would not include an HDMI port.. What does that mean? And it said it MAY have an upgraded fan...what is that?It was an auction for an xbox360,and i won for 180$.

Heres a link to the seller... seems like he has alot of these xbox 360s...

http://video-games.search.ebay.com/_Systems_W0QQcatrefZC12QQsacatZ139971QQsassZdiegofcardenas

It has a 30 day return policy, and i hope that i can make full use of it if the case comes up.
