hah! now that i have your attention... how many of you thought that this was another quiz??? huh huh... you know you did.. raise your hands... nice and high... now now.. i know you thought that. hah

ok.. so the real thing is... "why did rachel have are you popular with men" as her topic? simple...theres a story behind it! and i shall explain.

our school is hosting japanese exchange students.. and my friend.. since shes studying japanese (im not.. i think i close to hopeless with learning to languages :P ) is hosting one of them. this basically means that the *** girl (her name is misa) follows her everywhere. they come to schooll together, they eat together, they go back to my friends house together, they sleep in the same room.

anyway... my friend and her exchange student and her brother were just having fun one day after school and teasing each other about the guys (friend n misa) they liked and the girl (brother) liked. after that they went into my friends room and the japanese student looked up something in her japanese/english dictionary... about a minute later... she looked up and asked my friend... "are you popular with men?" now.. bear in mind that we're like 15 almost 16.. then say that out loud to yourself... funny? i thought so.. my friend told me about it the next day in school and i cracked up for about half the lesson of human biology.

then.. needless to say.. i went round and asked all my other school friends.. "are you popular with men?" lol :lol: that was one funny as day. :P

on another note... i'm now the fourth highest contributor for NCIS! yay! im so happy.. i just checked it today. :):)

hello hello.... guess what? heres my random blog post of this week...

i have black vans. which have pink penguins on them. and i love em!... i took photos so you could see. :P

according to a friend from church... i am a pink penguin racist. his words.. not mine. hah. now he's hiding them from me... grrr :lol:

i made it to level 11... finally! yay!!! i came on two days ago and i was on level 11 and 2% instead of being on level 10 and 100%!

i got a new icon! ok.. so its not that new anymore.. but i just remembered that i hadnt posted a blog about it yet... its the green one. Captain Contributor! ive contributed more than 100 submissions! yay

so that just about sums up the randomness in this post....

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

i watched the movie during the hols when i was in singapore with my cousins and i was pleasantly surprised.. (i havent seen the first movie) the actor/actresses were great, the storyline was great, the props and the scenery/settings were great! it was funny at times... yet sad at others.. (though i found myself laughing through most of the movie) :P excellent movie. worth the time (two and a half hours!) and the money. for the record im more of a will turner gal than i am a cap jack gal. but anyway...

i watched this movie on the plane on the way to singapore... it was cool!!! i love romantic movies.. though this movie was more humour than it was romance... love the pig scene. :P :)

High School Musical

fallen in love with the movie!!!!!! wow.. finally saw it over the hols while in singapore... (love the disney channel) and then on youtube a couple of times.. then last night at the sleepover couple more times. yes. couple. its the sweetest thing.. everything was awesome!!!!

Raise Your Voice

watched it last night... :) awww... its so sad at the start.... i nearly cried when her brother died. :cry: but it ended up well at the end. one of the sweetest movies ever!!

but the mother has decided that i've been "spending too much time" on my computer doing NCIS stuff or just on my computer in general. so she got dad to put a password on my computer. that's on the entire harddrive. i cant even get to the windows main screen. argggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

and thats why i havent been able to do anything all week. no avs, no art in general and minimal writing... coz i only ever write well on the computer. :evil:

and what have i been doing all week? HELPING THEM AT THE FLIPPIN SHOP. thats right. ive been helping them (i normally get paid) without any pay what-so-ever to do their stocktake. bloody hell.

and according to her. "the next thing to go is my video recorder" and she even said "which means you won't be able to record any of your NCIS". ah hell. combine that with the fact that im going to be in singapore... which i recently found out that there is no NCIS (actually when i asked... my uncle said "oh you mean CSI?" gah) means that i won't even get to see Family Secret or Ravenous once.

so.... just this weekend thats just past i spent at my church doing an "encounter weekend" and i'm going to start by saying that it was amazing, awesome, fantastic, p-h-e-n-o-m-e-n-a-l! loved every moment of it.... although of course it meant that i wasn't on the internet all weekend.. (must be some sort of a record for me) but it was still everything i said up there. :P

we spent the weekend really with a whole big group (about 20 - 25 of us) of us.. and i was great friends with about 1/2 the group and at the same time it was like we spent the weekend with one person. we had to choose partners and they had to be someone that you could trust.. so... as everyone expected... one of my best friends (susanna) and i went together. it was really cool.. we worshiped, learnt, took notes, and prayed for one another :D which was awesome. but at the same time we mucked around... with jordan, alex, jess, dana, kirsten, ivan, terence, lyndon and aaron during the breaks... (ok ok.. and also during the sessions :P ) and we watched vegie tales! [for those of you who dont know what that is.. its a kids cartoon-ish type show that isnt just funny but also tells and teaches bible stories using skits by a tomato called bob and a cucumber called larry :P]

altogether it was really cool, had an awesome time. and came back refreshed, encouraged and blessed. :D

well.. its today only because its like 0153 here.. so.. tomorrow... is today. :P

we went to school as per normal today.. but then during first session the power went out! and stayed that way throughtout the day... so in the last session we all got letters saying "in the interest of your child's health and safety there will not be school tomorrow" so thanks to the power out... we get a three day weekend! woohoo!

but one question has been bugging me ever since i got that letter about 11 or so hours ago. if we didn't have power in the whole school... how did admin manage to type up the letter, print the letter and then photocopy the letter for about 1800 students?!
