Bad Company 2 - $20 on steam! New Vietnam expansion coming out in a few days - $15 on steam.

I'm more than a little surprised no one else mentioned it, but BIOSHOCK. the story honestly interested me and had a few good plot twists. then of course there is the sequal if you really enjoyed the first, and then in 2012 the 3rd game in the franchise.

I would also like to suggest hitting up halo/halo2. old ports of xbox games, but i enjoy the universe.

He asked for a simple FPS.. If you think Bioshock is a Simple FPS you must of played it wrong... Very, very wrong...

Should I get Blur or Burnout? Putting all the weapons and unique things aside which game has better straight up racing? I know blur has a bunch of cool new things but if the core racing aspect of the game isn't as good as burnout I would rather go with burnout. I have played burnout before so I know its good (if your into that arcade style racing). EDIT: Decided to go with Burnout! Blur looks like it has no free roam and also no traffic.

[QUOTE="dan_plus_o"]I'm surprised how many of you keep the aero effect on. First thing I do when I install W7 is disable it. Its pretty and all but not worth the resources IMO.CellAnimation
Get a faster computer... :P Seriously it uses what? 0% on an i7?

Thanks for the recommendation but I'm running an i7 950 :P I'm just the kind of person that wants every bit of power. I don't think the Aero effect is worth 0.00000001% of my systems resources.

Okay, well as you probably know now... You need an AM2+ socket to run AM3 CPUs. I would save up and get a CPU, motherboard, and DDR3 ram upgrade all at once. I just did a CPU/Mobo/Ram upgrade to my PC a few days ago. I sold what I had first and then went a few days without my PC till my new parts came in. Did that really happen in your sig? I want to see the video lol.

How about spending 2k on a decent gaming rig, then spend the rest on an education since you seemingly have no knowledge about investing money correctly.Tyson8earzz
lol so true.. Man I would be ecstatic if my dad gave me $100 let alone $25,000. When I think of $25,000 first thing that comes to my mind is; get a mortgage on a house, invest it in stocks, or simply put it in the bank and get interest. If I were you I would spend no more then $2,000 on a computer. You should spend your money in a way that can potentially get you more money. Buying a super expensive computer will get you nowhere since in 2-3 years it will be an old outdated computer that you will make very little by selling. I always recommend getting a cheaper computer but upgrading it every year as apposed to getting a super expensive one that you think will last for many years. The most expensive computer now is going to suck compared to the cheaper computers that will be out a year from now.

I rock Sennheiser HD595s. They are similar to the HD555s and also lack in the bass department. They are open and I also sometimes have problems with waking people up because they leak so much sound out. I will probably get a pair of Sennheiser HD280s for my next set of headphones so I have an open and closed set. Is that Zalman clip on mic any good?? Ive never got around to getting a decent mic and right now I use my Logitech webcam's built in mic.

That wasn't much help... Sorry lol :P It's just the case I am about to order any second now to replace my Antec 900. I too am unsure what you mean by (where you can link cables with the computer). What case do you have? Pics?
The outputs of my graphic card is on the wrong side to fit. Instead of that the output is pointing out of the computer, it is now pointing to the computer itself and the outputs should be pointing out of the computer.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Gpu-connector.jpg Those thingsPitbullit
Really? Are you sure your plugging it into the right expansion slot? How old is this computer you have? Can you take a picture of the motherboard and upload it here?
