soooo.... destructible environment? or just a nice looking trailer? cos' it look's good don't get me wrong. But I can't see any major difference from Cod and Bf3 mixed together. Any vehicles to drive / fly? AA, and all those big toys?
@StaticPenguin I'm with you, I also remember Black, and it blew my mind! at the time that game was something else! I agree that BF has being like that , but if we compare MW3 with MW2 the similarities are not even funny, I played MW and CoD till my eyes bleed, loved the games and spent days and days playing with friends, but when MW3 came out I just stopped on my tracks.
BF3 from my point of view has set a higher expectations for gaming and I've never played any BF games before, is just to hard to drive an old Datsun again after driving a Ferrari! :)
Seriously? i don't really get it... I thought games where evolving, not revolving... nice textures, lighting, and same old linear-non destructive environment as always... look's just like CoD/Gears of War.
Why is that BF3 is the only game so far who made the effort to do something different or at least kind of new, massive maps, lost op options, blow things up, etc, I'm not trying to glorify BF3 but c'mon, this game look's already 4 years old!!!
What is the point? they can keep adding nice shiny textures and camera movements, but is essentially the same!! Is ridiculous having the same enemies behind the same cover places and ALWAYS looking the opposite way from where the bullets are flying so that you can "surprise" them... please.
I don't want to diminish the game developers hard work, but investing so much time, money, and talent is a bit like having a 5 star Chef and making him to work in mac donals... just another shooter with no risks and no interest in evolving.
this is the most confusing explanation of a game O_O!! I'll do a degree in psychology and then play the game to see if I understood the whole "experience"! it look's good anyway! :)
