With the Wii coming out tomorrow,and the PS3 yesterday,i thought now would be a perfect time to rase nerdgasms by posting my views on one of the greatest debates of all time:

Which one of comic's leading companies deserves the most praise?

To those who don't know,DC started in around the late 1930s with Action Comics[Superman's debut],Adventure Comics[Superboy,i believe],and Detective Comics[Batman himself.],along with Flash Comics.During the Golden Age,Superman,Superboy,Batman,and Wonder Woman got their own series.During the Golden Age,we also saw the first Super Hero Team:The Justice Society.In the Silver Age,Green Lantern,Green Arrow,Aquaman,and Hawkman got introduced to their own sucessful series,plus started the now-legendary Justice League.

On the Marvel side,Marvel Comics #1 was printed in 1939,which introduced us to The Sub-Mariner and The Human Torch.In 1941,Captain America Comics was printed to kick Nazi ass during this age.

However,the Timely/Marvel Age didn't last very long,ending in the early 1950's.But, in 1960,Marvel returned with Fantastic Four[Starring a reinvented Human Torch.]Eventually during the following year,the unpopular Amazing Adult Fantasy changed it's name to Amazing Fantasy with it's classic Amazing Fantasy #15[Which i have an orignal copy of],before ending it's run.To those who don't know,this was the Webbed one's start.Also that year came the short lived Incredible Hulk.The following year came both The Avengers and The Uncanny X-Men.This also came to the Sub-Mariner returing in The Fantastic Four,and Captain America in The Avengers.

Anyway,here we go:

Charcters/Powers:

I believe that Marvel takes this one,hands down.I'd take a rider of the stars that calls for a planet-eating mongul over a rider of the,uh,sea,that calls for,uh,fish anyday.And better a Sorcerer Supreme then a Sorcerer who gains her powers by saying things backwards[And that's Zantanna for you.]

And above all:The alter egos.

Look at Clark Kent;who's nothing more than the Man of Steel with glasses and a suit.And Bruce Wayne is like,the richest man in the world,big deal.The thing is that Peter Parker gave us a down-to Earth-Human-like chracter.

Yea,i'm sorry,but i don't fell like posting the entire thing down,so i'll do a part 2 later if you like it.

I'm thinking of making a message board for SOCAC,and i need help and Mods.First of all,what would be a good site to make one of these?I was thinking Freewebs,but i'm not sure if it allows message boards to be made there,so any good ideas?

And while i'm at it,for those who don't know,Sonic SATAM and Captain N The Game Master are coming out on DVD next year.

In bigger news,two fan favorites are now being given life after death:

AYAOTD finally returned to Nick in the U.K. on Halloween,and remains there.Apparntely,it's recieving major ratings there,and gaining tons of new fans.BTW,Kenan and Kel never lefet Nick U.K.

The other one that returned was Courage The Cowarldy Dog,which came back at the begining of last month as part of "Dracula Presents The Grim & Courage Hour",which suspondily ended on the Saturday and Monday before Halloween,with marathons on both days.However,thinking that the great dog left too soon,turing on last night,Courage was back!

So,yes, AYAOTD and Courage are here to stay,gaining much deserved fan response.

Hmmm,what 2 say?Well,i got a new puppy on Saturday!Yea,a Wetin[sp?] Terrior.That's cool,but without any pics,what's the point of talking about her?
