[QUOTE="dazedfinch"]

I own all 3 and I definately think CoD4 is far superior to the other two... i'll try to explain how i feel about each in a nutshell.

Crysis is ok, but I HATE the fact that the enemies have body armor, I want my enemies to die when I shoot them. I realise you're suppose to aim for the head, but getting em in the chest doesn't even phase them. Now I have barely dented the multi-player mode, but from what I played I did have fun with. *Note I have yet to beat Crysis btw.

Bioshock was meh, If you have an xbox 360 i would suggest renting it at most. No multi-player and after you get through the single-player it becomes a drink coaster. Don't get me wrong, the game has it's moments and is definately immersive, but not worth the money at all.

Call of Duty 4 is my kind of game, excellent single-player mode that is totally worth playing through multiple times, and to top that off it's probably one of the best online shooters out there at the moment.

So basically your complaint about Crysis, is its too hard because enemeis wear body armor?

not at all, I like a challenge. I beat CoD4 on vet and playing Crysis on hard. I never said it was "too hard" I just don't like my enemies to absorb so many bullets.

youll be able to run cod4 and crysis fine, just probably not at the highest resolutions for crysis with flawless gameplay. Shouldn't have any problems surfing the net, just make sure you get a program such a CCleaner or a spyware remover.

but ultimately, you should just build your own computer and save money.

I stepped up from a superclocked 8800 gts 320 to a stock 8800 gt and my 3dmark06 score went up 2000 points.

ASUS notebooks are probably the best for the pricetag they offer, atleast from what i've come across. Anything else is insanely expensive.

AMD Athlon 2600 2ghz (Socket A)

1gb RAM

Radeon 9600

It uses an agp/ide mobo and i'm just looking for a cheap fix to speed up my games... i just don't want to ultimately hurt it.

I was looking at switching the 9600 with this

any thoughts or suggestions?

btw this is my secondary computer

On December 5th The Trinity Expansion comes out. This will update allg raphics to new DX10 graphics. You can now enter and walk around stations, all new textures, everything remodeled. Best Yet its all Free aside from the monthly subscription. Long Live CCP!!!

PS. Eve Online is the best MMO ever.acidBURN1942

the whole walking in stations bit won't be around for a while actually.

looks like a good build, however I have to jump on the bandwagon and recommend a GT.. also I'd suggest going with EVGA, they have a greatstep-up program. Not sure about PNY though.

and go for an SLI MoBo, that way you still have the option to have dual cards.
